This week, the Furkids are celebrating Thanksgiving. They are giving thanks for memories sweet and bittersweet. But not the damaging, bad memories. Those are pitched into an abyss, fall to the fiery core and are burnt to a crisp, where they can hurt you no more.
Bittersweet memories, on the other hand, may contain a little hurt, like the time you scraped your knee and Mama kissed it better. Or there may be sadness, like losing someone with whom you made wonderful memories before they passed from your life.
