A Threads member asked his followers which Proud Mary we preferred: Creedence Clearwater Revival or Tina Turner. The Furkids and I love both versions passionately. When I asked them to raise a paw, hoof, claw etc to indicate their preference, they all voted for both.
Ultimately, it came down to a coin toss to decide which one to use for our first all-AI images episode. Yep, every image was generated by AI, much to the amusement of the Furkids who were looking over my shoulders to suggest additions and changes to my prompts.
They particularly liked the five-legged cow and the cat with horns. Though I put those two images aside, don’t feel you’re missing out. There are some very strange animal shapes on the river boats if you look closely, and several animals seem to have ocular conditions with misaligned pupils. The effect though is rather endearing so we’ve kept them in.

I was a little worried about how many of those riverboats were about to run aground 😘 but all of it was lovely! The cat in the beret shredding that guitar on the instrumental page was the best!! 😻
I know, right? AI doesn’t seem to have a handle on the consequences of direction! All the rivers were incredibly narrow too!

It was a truly challenging task – with a steep learning curve! – this week but a great deal of fun was had by all. You put in the instructions (the “prompts”) and you never know what you’ll get back in return! It’s never exactly what you requested, but the unexpected is the fun factor.
