The Furkids took a different approach to choosing this week’s theme – they started with the coda then went looking for a song to go with it. Usually it’s the other way around. But I shouldn’t be surprised. After all, “usual” isn’t usually associated with our diverse fur team. Choosing which version of the song they wanted took no time at all. They all voted for the original song by The Monkees.

The jukebox has been dialed back to 1967 and filled with old pennies. Just press play, scroll down to the lyrics and sing along!

  1. {{{Michelle}}} Always love that song. And that version. (You know I haven’t a clue who most of those humans are, right? LOL) And always love what you and the Furkids do with it. Healing Energy & skritches & moar {{{HUGS}}} all around, as appropriate.

  2. After two and a half decades, I still miss this little guy who was named Corky. (and also Sparky the spaniel I still had after he too crossed the Rainbow Bridge some years later)

    • When they come into your life, they come into your heart. When they leave, they take a piece of your heart with them so they can find you again when it’s your turn. But you always miss that piece of your heart.

  3. I love it, Michelle! Such a delightful take on that special connection between furbabies and their humans. You’re the bestest!
