The Furkids excitedly exclaimed that they had a surprise for me this week and waited impatiently for my gasp of realisation as I read through the lyrics. Gasp! They were right! This song by Little River Band was written by lead singer Glenn Shorrock in 1977, and – this was the surprise – it foretold the emergence of maga more than 50 years ago! Let us know in the comments if you too spotted the lyrics that epitomise maga members.
But the theme of this song is one we can all embrace. When the news is chaotic, confounding, galling and rife with stupidity, hang on because the Furkids are here to help.
When you’re ready, press play on the jukebox, scroll down to the illustrated lyrics, then sing along. We guarantee you’ll feel better by the end of the song!

Furkids love the frothy milk at ko-fi.com/furkids. They want you to know they love licking up their frothy moustaches. You can treat them to their favourite frothies for $3/€3/£3. All proceeds go towards Loula’s healthcare, with our heartfelt gratitude to all contributors.

The Furkids are excited that, in addition to their very own account on Blue Sky, they now have their own banner! The inspiring words are by their Aunty Kay (@Kay Coop at Creative Sprints*) and the design by their own Michelle Elle.

*Creative Sprints – The Furkids’ Aunt Sarah and Aunt Sebastiene host Community Sprints every day of the week. This is where much of the work for Furkids is done. Everyone with something on a to-do list is welcome, though you must be subscribed to the channel for at least 24 hours before joining the chat. There’s an open invitation for all Furkids followers to join the Sprints community!

I LOVE the cheetah! Other great pics, too, but the cheetah gets me where I live. I had no idea they could run sideways like that.
