To celebrate Pride Month, the Furkids chose editor Ursula Faw’s favourite song and asked me to recolour all the illustrations in rainbow colours. I was dubious about the outcome but they insisted, and it’s their column, so I went to work. Several hours later, I completed their request, and I have to admit, it worked really well! We hope you like it too.
I gave them coins for the jukebox, so it’s ready to go. Just press play and scroll down to the rainbow lyrics, wave your rainbow flags or anything colourful, and sing along!

Thank you to everyone who bought the Furkids a frothy kofi this week. All proceeds from ko-fi.com/furkids go towards Loula’s health and well-being. Loula sends you all loads of purrs, snuggles and kitty kisses.

Loved it Michelle! Jerry Vale was one of my Mom’s favorites. Brought back memories.
This is Ursula’s favourite Furkids song, and Jerry Vale is one of her favourite singers, so it’s in their contract with PolitiZoom to play it every year. I think it’s now found an annual home spot in the first week of June, too, so it’s doing double duty.
It’s one of my favourite songs too, but I knew it as a piano piece. I never knew the words until the Furkids suggested it, and I had to look up the lyrics!
I love the positive responses from younger followers who have never heard these songs before. It’s a great pleasure to introduce them to these older favourites.
