The Furkids team has been looking forward to the Autumn Equinox because they’ve had quite enough of Summer. They like the idea of cosying up on warm laps and in warm beds, sleeping in and watching the changing outdoor weather from the comfort of the warm and dry indoors.

Autumn is ushered in by the glorious magic fingers of Roger Williams. Although this is entirely an instrumental recording of the song, the melody — played at first by the orchestra then later taken up by the piano — is easy to follow and the team is confident you will manage very well!

They found some loose change down the backs of their favourite chairs so the jukebox is primed and ready. Just press play, scroll down through the illustrated lyrics and sing along!

  1. {{{Michelle}}} The Furkids are wise to chose an instrumental since their words don’t always synch with somebody else’s. Like Nat King Cole’s for example. And of course Roger Willams is just the best. Healing Energy and moar {{{HUGS}}} – and skritches to Ms. Loula.

    • Yes, and I think our regular followers understand how it works now so they are quite comfortable with an instrumental. It is a much better choice when the lyrics are “amended”!

  2. I’m so glad you like it, it’s a favourite of mine from childhood. I love how he uses the piano to musically illustrate the falling of the leaves. To me, that was magic!
