Today is the Fifth Day which traditionally is “five gold rings”. However, it’s often sung as “five golden rings”, especially in North America, which makes sense because it enables singers to fit one syllable to each musical note. The Furkids liked the idea of five golden rings, but of course, they have their own variation.

You are definitely on a roll here! I missed a couple of days because I was in the hospital, but I’ve figured out how to grab them from the website on my phone to send them to myself to save. I am so, so glad you are doing these.

Oh Susan, I didn’t know you were in hospital, you poor darling! I hope the 12 days of Catmas are helping with your recovery. Please consider the remaining 7 days to be dedicated to your recuperation.
I started them back in July and finished them on Dec 6. It really does take me months to pull the whole thing together, but I do enjoy it. Now I’m seeing lots of other people enjoying it, and it’s wonderful!
