As we bid farewell to the old year and greet the new, there’s no better song for the occasion than the Scottish traditional, Auld Lang Syne, for old times. In the cusp between the past and the future, the Funday team affectionately remember furkids and their servants who have gone before us, and raise a cup of kindness to our friends and loved ones with whom we share our hopes and dreams for 2022.

Now, who shall we ask to sing it… has to be a Scotsman… let’s ask Rod Stewart!

  1. Mopsy, you have done it again with this masterpiece of such a moving rendition of Auld Lang Syne and such moving memories of dear friends who have gone before us. I had goosebumps throughout, and tears in my eyes by the end. This makes me almost eager to join those who await us on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Wishing you and everyone here a new year filled with successes, beauty, and joy!

    • We want to keep you here as long as we can but, at the same time, it’s comforting and exciting to know there are loved ones waiting to be reunited with us when we cross the Rainbow Bridge ourselves.
We’ll have a New Year’s Day special too so I look forward to ushering in the New Year with furiends!

      • I can’t wait! And thanks for editing today’s post to include Betty White. I listened/watched the whole thing again, and I’m even more moved than the first time. You have such a gift – thank you for sharing it with us.

  2. ((((((Michelle)))))) The most perfect music, and like Rosemary, I had tears in my eyes by the end also. I hope you have a wonderful New year! Much love to you for all you do.
