This is like a fairy tale. Once upon a time there was a great kingdom and evidently the inhabitants pissed off some powerful magician pretty bad, because a great madness spread upon the land and a cult arose around a slug. Yes, a veritable slug, the likes of which you see sitting in the White House in this video. A Frenchman, and not just any Frenchman, the President of France, came to visit the slug to indulge in yet another strange handshake ritual and to try to reason with the slug. It didn’t go so well. It never does. And the Frenchman knows this but he didn’t have any choice but to pretend the slug was rational, c’est la vie.

And there the slug lies through its teeth. Yes 83% of the people polled agreed that they preferred “reducing government expenditure over increasing taxes.” That’s how it was phrased and of course it would rank high, it’s a desirable state of affairs, reducing government expenditures. But that polling item has nothing to do with Elon Musk going through government and either firing or threatening to fire everyone. Those are two different things. But of course the gaslighting is 100% with the slug, so what do you expect?

Macron is right in going through the motions with the slug to secure the peace of the greater kingdom, the world, but the slug has already thrown in with the evil sorceror, and I don’t see that alliance changing. What I see happening is France and Germany uniting Europe and using NATO as a kind of European Army.

Trump may very well pull us out of NATO and then we may find ourselves teetering on WWIII. But do bear in mind that Russia has lost a great many casualties in the three years of war against Ukraine, and that is a solid factor to be considered. So we’re not at the brink of war yet, right now.

But the slug is as stupid as they come and he may well get us there. We are up the creek without a paddle.

Would somebody dust off their old CD of Goldfinger and send it to the slug? Because the concept of the gold being stolen and nobody knowing about it, is a little bit more than bizarre. But this is what’s in charge of this country. I commend President Macron for not bursting into hysterical laughter on the spot.

I wish I knew what the Democrats did to deserve this. Sweet Jesus Christ on a bagel. Waking up to the slug in office every morning is cruel and unusual punishment and I don’t even know what crime we committed.

  2. Trumpler pulling the USA out of NATO could be the saving grace for that marvelous military alliance. Its other members understand its value and its role in the world, especially facing a deranged tyrant like Putin. The loss of the American financial support would be felt, obviously, but it needn’t be fatal. Europe is a wealthy entity, with a far healthier economy than Russia. The EU has just added new sanctions and will continue to do so. Russia’s much vaunted army has failed to conquer Ukraine, has taken enormous losses in men and materiel and is now having much of its military infrastructure systematically destroyed by Ukrainian attacks. That army’s no great threat to Europe now or in the near future. A reconfigured NATO, minus Trumpler’s America, could be a very significant threat to Russia, should Putin decide to act the bullyboy beyond Ukraine and into Europe. Putin knows this, which is why he’s counting on his bootlicker in the Oval Office to cripple NATO. It won’t work, but for sure Trumpler’s going to give it his best shot.

    • If he pulls us out of NATO, then 5 Eyes should become 4 Eyes. We should not receive intelligence information from them. Trump will hand it to our enemies. We (USA) deserve what we get for electing this madman.

  3. It’s only taken 35 days for the corruption and incompetence of the trump goons to be made evident to the American public. And they are fighting back.

    Who is going to start a WWIII? What does that even mean? Bringing it up repeatedly makes no sense. What, is trump gonna invade Mexico, Canada and Panama? He isn’t going to invade Europe. And Putin is too weak now to invade anybody else. And all those nuclear threats by Putin are just that: hollow threats. If he uses a nuke, Putin is toast. And he knows it.
