So this was the play all along, plan a made up an event at Arlington National Cemetery supposedly to honor the thirteen dead in Afghanistan during the withdrawal, use the event as cover for your true purpose – illegally filming a campaign ad for your 2024 Presidential run – feign horror when President Biden wisely stays the hell away, and have the compliant liars at Fox News criticize him for doing so. The Fox News liars even went so far as drawing comparisons between Biden refusing to dignify Trump’s farce this Monday with Trump’s declining to attend a planned ceremony at Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France, which contains the graves of American soldiers killed in WW1, in 2018 because he might get that mess he calls his hair wet.

Biden made a visit to the cemetery in France in June and took a dig at Trump for the past report – which Trump and several members of his administration who were on the trip have since refuted.

This past Monday marked three years since 13 American service members were killed in a suicide bombing attack during the withdrawal from Afghanistan, while Biden stayed away from the White House for the second week in a row.
This is typical of the way the right wing operates, completely making up out of whole cloth the notion that the 3rd anniversary of these tragic deaths is somehow more significant than the first or second simply because it falls just weeks before a Presidential election and Trump can play it up and use the occasion, and Biden’s sensible avoidance of the “ceremony”, to bash his political opponents. With the added bonus, with Fox’s help, of blunting a criticism of the Orange one that has stuck – his refusal, on a state visit, to honor American war casualties.
Fox did acknowledge that Biden marked the anniversary in his own way.
“The White House released a statement on the anniversary, but Biden did not attend any memorial ceremonies, according to his public schedule.
“Three years ago, an ISIS suicide bomber launched an attack of deliberate evil at Abbey Gate outside of Kabul Airport—killing 13 American service members and more than 100 innocent Afghans. Today, and every day, we honor our fallen,” a statement from Biden read.“
The fact of the matter is that Donald Trump and his allies at Fox News planned the whole fake event not to honor our war dead, but as a way to score cheap political points at their expense.
And, despite all the anger and backlash that the visit has engendered, Fox is still in there swinging wildly and hoping to connect a punch which will somehow make that happen.
I’m very, very, glad President Biden stayed far away from von shitzinpants’ shit show. There was not one iota of respect being shown to those buried there. The families who allowed themselves to be part of shitzi’s campaign ad deserve to be ostracized for the rest of their pitiful lives.

The employee at Arlington got pushed/manhandled by, lewandowsky?, while she was attempting to do her job (I guess just taking away women’s rights until they are no longer real citizens isn’t enough)-she ought to be filing criminal charges against the person who assaulted her. I mean, where I live, if I push, lay hands upon, poke at, punch, whatever, without the approval of the person I am doing it to, it is called “assault” and is a criminal action.
