The GOP is not perishing quietly, it is going violently, kicking and screaming into that dark night. Marge Greene and the rest of the MAGA caucus have been furious with Moses Mikey for delivering the lengthy bill to them in the wee hours of the morning. But that’s not the real issue. The real issue is that this bill, like all bills, contains some compromises because that is what governance is. You give something, you get something. Marge Greene lives in a bubble where somehow one side shoves whatever they want down the other side’s throat, whole, and there is no negotiation. That is not politics. At least not in a democracy. That one-sided iron fisted change of things overnight is authoritarian.
So Marge got the ball rolling. She’s after Mikey’s hide. And Mikey, if he’s got the sense God gave a goat, should actually be relieved to relinquish the gavel. He’s been flailing and over his head since he obtained it. And in all fairness, this was an honor that was more or less thrust upon him out of sheer desperation to just pick somebody and so it’s not surprising that it all worked out this way. At least Kevin McCarthy wanted to be Speaker and had studied what that entailed. Not so with Johnson. He no more thought he would end up Speaker than he thought he would end up the next John the Baptist.
You see the theatrics, “women are being raped, women are being killed.” We get it, Marge. The border is the big talking point this election along with a rebranding of January 6. We’re fully grasping all this. But what we don’t know and what we need to know, is just *who* do you propose to become Speaker? Yourself? Matt Gaetz? How about the “little bitch” Lauren Boebert? That could be good for laughs.
It’s never a good idea to fire somebody in a situation like this unless you’ve got a replacement plan. Doing this without a replacement plan is sheer suicide. But evidently that’s beyond Marge’s grasp and so she’s going to go one of two things: 1. Chill during the recess and realize that it’s not going to get any better. 2. Propose herself as Speaker. I heartily hope that she does the latter.
Since she seems to know it all and how she can negotiate with Chuck Schumer, or bludgeon him into submission, however she thinks this works, let’s give her a shot. This will be high entertainment.
Just imagine: Marge as Speaker of the House as the daily backdrop to Trump falling flat on his ass, every day in every way. I welcome it. In fact, I pray for it. Please, Marge, oh please, do it.
What Marge fails to realize is that she is in solid in her deep red district but she is not a candidate that would win statewide in Georgia. She’s an embarrassment. And she is not a national candidate for anything, for the same reason multiplied by a thousand. She’s a joke.
Do you recall the time she held the gavel on a temporary basis and demanded “decorum” in the House and was met with peals of laughter? It’s going to be that every single day.
Be careful what you wish for, Marjorie, you might just get it.

After watching how impotent the legal system has been with 147 insurrectionists in congress, the former attorney General, and the head of this snake, I have ZERO faith in the law to stop this, and anyone who thinks the ignorant public will step up, is believing in something that won’t be proven until November. I’ve been sent to prison as a political prisoner, and told by a parole board my arrest was not justifiable. I was lucky to still be alive to hear it. Yet, the real traitors have walked for the past 8 years since putin installed the criminal as president, and are still working on a coup. Unlike some of the pundits here who sit on their comfortable ass and believe they will be safe no matter what, I know what Trump will do in his dictatorship…mass murder and incarcerate innocent people. Ms Marjorine better be careful who she intends to help her build the foundation for her possible Speaker position, because they could use that foundation to finish her off, and install someone else. If she manages to get the spot, she’ll radiate illiteracy from her smudged and blotted copybook of Speaker best practice. When her ignorance screams, oppositional intelligence will be onlooking, silent, and primed to pounce and counterpunch. As a defence Ms Marjorine will possibly issue a cacophony of aggressive accusatorial diatribes, and baseless excuses, on any particular day. Her shallow birdbath vaudeville ‘governmenting’ act, will turn dysfunctional, and infect the house, in the days following. Rinse. Repeat. Yes, it’ll be a predictable and sad act.
