Four year old Abigail Mor Edan was taken hostage by Hamas on Oct. 7th after they had killed her parents in front of her. Luckily her siblings managed to hide and escape capture.

Baby Abigail was among the first tranche of hostages freed by successful negotiations this past weekend.

But after enduring seven weeks in a dark tunnel and captivity, little Abigail’s release is now being used as bludgeon by the House GOP because her aunt is a Democratic donor who once purchased a painting from Hunter Biden.

“House impeachment investigators are questioning whether the release of the first American freed as a Hamas hostage happened because the child’s aunt is a Democratic donor who bought artwork from Hunter Biden, the president’s son.

Abigail Mor Edan, 4, an American-Israeli citizen whose parents were murdered in the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel, was famously released by the terrorists last week after seven weeks in captivity.

Thousands of miles away in Washington, the toddler has suddenly become a focal point of the House GOP impeachment investigation into President Joe Biden. Republicans are publicly questioning whether Abigail was afforded special treatment and released because of her family’s ties to the Bidens.

Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., who was one of two members of Congress visiting Israel on the day of Oct. 7, called Republicans “simply disgusting” for entangling the orphaned girl’s name in their political impeachment.“

You can say that again, Dan.

And of course Fox News is carrying the Republican’s water, with
the ever slimy Maria Bartiromo leading the way. In the following clip, posted on Twitter by the redoubtable Aaron Rupar, Bartiromo interviews House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo., whose committee is weighing a Biden impeachment, and both of these repugnant swamp creatures actually say “We are glad Abigail was released… BUT…”

You can readily see that what both are really glad of is the opportunity to use Abigail to smear Biden.

  2. Well, they feel like they have to do SOMETHING! They not only failed to hound Hunter Biden into committing suicide (so his dad would get depressed and resign) but Hunter is actually fighting back and has THEM on the defensive now. In the mad scramble to find something new, anything at all to slander Biden with they pick a four year old child. These are truly vile, despicable people.

  3. Ok, now I realize that nitwit…woman…on faux nuz is nothing more than a nitwit. She is and there is no arguing with that fact. Does she realize who exactly is doing the negotiating? No, I don’t think she does when in fact National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan directed Biden’s top Middle East adviser, Brett McGurk, and another top adviser, Josh Geltzer, to establish a working group on the hostage issue. President Biden might direct those in his cabinet to get people who actually know HOW to negotiate in these situations but I cannot find anything indicating President Biden is actually negotiating himself. I cannot find anything because it is not happening.

    More to the point: the terrorist organizations involved here have a lot to do with who stays and who leaves. It behooves them absolutely nothing to keep children-they made their point by taking them hostage in the first place. I expect every person younger than the teenage years (and I might be making this too low) is going to be released ASAP or has already been released. I am not trying to cover Hamas, etc. with any vestiges of humanity. It just doesn’t make logistical sense nor does it improve their standing with any rational person thinking Israel is in the wrong. They lose points making child hostages suffer and even they know this.

    As usual the silly twit, like everyone else at faux nuz, embarrasses herself. Here’s to hoping a whole bunch of people call her out and skewer her, her co-workers, and anyone getting on this particular train of disgust. Somehow I feel this is a slim hope.
