Sigh. 25 manic posts on Truth Social in just the past hour. Trumpty Dumpty is all but melting like the Wicked Witch. Somebody throw some orange kool-aide on him, will you, maybe that will wake him up to the fact that his insults are simply bouncing off. For an insult to stick there has to be: 1. some possibility it might be true; or 2. it fits in some way. Trump can’t find the right match with Harris/Walz and it is driving him out of what’s left of his mind.

Crooked Hillary stuck for a couple of reasons, that Trump was brand new to politics and also that Hillary was deeply unpopular and had been the target of what she referred to as the “vast right-wing conspiracy” and there is some truth to that. Right-wing media hated Hillary and the rest of us were oblivious to right-wing media in 2016. At least I know I was. Had I not been, I’m sure I would have seen a potential Trump victory coming rather than having ice water thrown in my face on Election Night. But the right-wing media did accuse Bill and Hillary Clinton of everything from drug smuggling to murder. That is a fact. Anyhow, here are samplings either of what Trump is posting or what is being posted on his behalf in today’s meltdown (not to be confused with last week’s meltdown or with the meltdown certain to come later this week.)

The sign is cut off, it says “NOT everything you don’t like is communism.” Kamala’s a commie, Donald says. I’m sure you’ve seen the hashtag #Kamunism. Unfortunately, it’s falling off her like Teflon in the rain. And this fruit fly kicked in her two cents.

Wow. I come from a family that was totally nuts but at least I come from a family. I know who my parents were and I look like both of them. So I guess “nuts” is relative, right? Now this next one is desperate reaching. I mean des-per-ate.

And this one is more desperate, still. Voz, I guess, is the right-wing version of Vox. Credible figures in the world of left-wing journalism/blogging worked at Vox. Two that come to mind are Aaron Rupar and Markos Moulitsos. Voz has an English and Spanish version from what I can determine. They are ranked as a medium traffic website, as are we. So they are small potatoes. (As are we, but we’re fighting the good fight, choo choo-ing through cyberspace, not publishing lies and pro-Trump propaganda.)

“She has a hard time keeping the thread of the conversation.” OMG. I don’t know why they’re doing this to Kamala. They never did this to Hillary. Hillary was called many things but stupid was not among them. And Hillary was never a prosecutor, Kamala was. My best guess is that the Trump *campaign* such as it is, was so geared to Joe Biden’s gaffes and alleged dementia that they simply are substituting Kamala’s name in the same text. They cannot come up with new material, try as they may. To say that this is pathetic is to understate it. But why is she hiding? Although Americans are by now accustomed to seeing the Democratic candidate using the “basement” hiding strategy, the reasons are different now. Biden evidently did not have the mental capacities to answer questions. But Kamala is aware and does have the cognitive skills to explain ideas, so what could be so dangerous that would force the candidate to hide even longer than President Biden did?

It is true that Kamala has been known for years for her weak oratory. When she speaks she has a hard time keeping the thread of the conversation, she usually has no arguments, and she also has a nervous laugh that not only gives her away easily, but also annoys many. But most likely, the strategy of hiding her from the cameras is due to much more than her limited speech-making skills.

Kamala is an extreme leftist, her voting record as a senator and her actions as a prosecutor in California say so. The Democratic candidate has no chance of winning the independent and moderate vote if she honestly explains her positions. But on the other hand, if she lies, and pretends to be moderate, she also has a problem, she would anger the extremes of her party, who are her base. Also, it would be very difficult to deny her own positions, when there are so many records of what she has said and supported.

For a person with that record and with such poor public speaking skills, it is very difficult to face tremendous challenges. That is why for now Kamala prefers to leave her campaign in the hands of the media and continue “preparing.”

Sheer drivel. Utter nonsense. But hey, somebody on the right with a blog the size of the one you’re reading now is making a couple of dollars publishing total bullshit. Now these next ones are sheer wish fulfillment. This is what Trump wishes was happening in the universe. He’s puttiing it out into the universe and praying to Satan, who promised him a much better deal than this, “Oh please, oh please, make this true.”

RFK, Jr. has brainworms and Trump’s ingesting something that causes him to slur his words. But Kamala’s the substance abuser. Righto. Duly noted. 78 more days of this, friends. And Donald Trump is right about one thing: November 5 is the most important date in the history of the U.S.A. Meanwhile, a desperate MAGA whisper, “Trust the Plan, Trust the Plan.” Hey, Donald: next time a guy with horns wants you to sign a contract with a lemur bone and in blood, you might beware.

  3. If his campaign was a 747…we’d be seeing it coming down fast with smoke pouring out of the engines, and the eerie sound it makes before the tremendous explosion. I wonder if alzheimer’s has begun to kick in…like it did with his old man? He appears to be sundowning…a term that describes daily unraveling as a person goes from am to pm. Stress is gasoline on a fire.

      If her “Swifties” attack the Trump sites the way they went after Travis Kelce’s ex (she’d posted a comment against HIM, not against Taylor, and the “Swifties” went after her to “defend” Taylor’s beau), then the Trump sites will go down permanently.

    Please, Ursula. SOME of us were more than aware of right-wing media in 2016. And, Hillary’s claim about the “vast right-wing conspiracy” was from the 1990s, when she was speaking about the attacks on Bill. The “mainstream” media ignored her claims, because, of course. Their owners were largely Republicans/conservatives who hated Bill (and Hillary as well) just as much as Fox “News” and Rush Limbaugh and Sinclair Media and the rest (the main difference with the mainstream media was that the talking heads tended to be moderate-to-liberal but they couldn’t follow up on Hillary’s claim unless they wanted a one-way ticket to the unemployment line).

    Then, in 2008, that right-wing conspiracy helped to sink Hillary’s presidential campaign. In a year when EVERYONE on the left/progressive was saying that “ANY” Democrat would win the White House, for some reason, Hillary was seen as the only one that McCain could easily trounce and, most of that was due to “progressives” who’d fallen for all the right-wing bullcrap. Additionally, you could see that in how Hillary was treated during the campaign itself. She was NOT the only Democratic candidate running who’d voted for Dubya’s Iraq War authorization (and Obama was the ONLY candidate who hadn’t actually cast a vote, for or against) but she was the only one who received flak for the vote (even Joe Biden and John Edwards had voted *for* the authorization–didn’t hurt either of them as Obama would pick Biden as his VP and eagerly accepted Edwards’ endorsement and delegates after Edwards dropped out). And let’s not forget how the DNC stacked the deck against Hillary (who, by the way, campaigned practically non-stop for the entire season while Obama routinely took several “breaks” every couple of weeks) when it came to the Florida and Michigan delegate controversies. Obama had voluntarily withdrawn from the Michigan primary and so he received no votes or delegates but, when the DNC decided how to handle the two states’ “breaking the scheduling rules,” it decided to simply give Obama half the state’s delegates and Hillary got the other half (if the DNC had wanted to be fair, the delegates that Obama got should’ve been “uncommitted” and then they could vote however they wanted at the Convention–but then Hillary might’ve had a chance at leading the delegate count and the DNC heavies couldn’t have that). And let’s remember the whole “superdelegates” issue: Ted Kennedy went on record saying that the superdelegates should support whichever candidate won their state’s primary. Until HIS state chose to support Hillary while he’d been a leading Obama supporter. Then, he said the superdelegates should support whoever they felt deserved their support. (And more than a few Black superdelegates were actually threatened with primary battles if they dared support Hillary over Obama.)
    Then, we get to 2016 and it’s just more of the same. A NON-Democrat decided he wanted to run as a Democrat (while never actually joining the Party he wanted to lead after the Convention–and he would later renege on promises to run “as a Democrat in future elections”) and the Party leaders saw this as a way to keep down Hillary once again. While those same people were supporting Hillary in the Benghazi hearings (and chuckling at how she was handling her GOP “inquisitors” like a cat would a bunch of mice), when she dared to run for office, they couldn’t stab her in the back again. Only the fact that she CONVINCINGLY won the majority of delegates (even after the superdelegates had largely been neutralized during the primary season, thanks to Bernie Sanders’ whining) did the DNC reluctantly back her. Every win that Hillary made, the DNC was ready to step in and accept partial credit for the win; but when she made a misstep, oh, the DNC was all too quick to lay all the blame on her.

  6. Bobo might want to read up on VP Harris’s family history. Her parents divorced when she was SEVEN and her mother retained custody of her and her sister. Not sure how much “raising to be a Communist” can be done when you’ve only really spent three or four years with your dad. (For what it’s worth, Dr Harris’s economics work would only be considered “Communist” by right-wing nutjobs who will argue that “what’s best for business is best for America” while, at the same time, denouncing businesses that feel some sort of social responsibility and that limiting business models to appeal to just one narrow, and narrow-minded, group of consumers leads to stagnation. Then again, my eyes tend to gloss over when trying to make out any sense of economics theories, models and schools, so I imagine Bobo would fall asleep even if given a pop-up picture book describing Dr Harris’s work.)
