It is going to be an entertaining election year. Definitely, it will be one for the books. You have a man running to run the country he tried to overthrow when he ran it the first time because he’s out of money and he’s running from the law. That man is hoping and praying he’ll be reelected because then he can direct his Justice Department to make all the federal complaints go away — but he can’t make that pesky state indictment in Georgia go away, so what will happen there?

This is the same guy with 91 felony counts, 11 aides convicted, 4 indictments, 2 impeachments, an $83.3M defamation verdict, a $25M fraud verdict (Trump University — yes, I know, it’s hard to keep all the fraud cases and verdicts straight) $1.6M tax fraud conviction, plus another $48M which appears to be money he characterized as a loan, but which he really owes income tax on. And this is by no means a complete roster of his issues, just the tip of an ever swelling iceberg. So here is Joe Biden’s latest.

Nikki Haley features prominently and I fully expect her to be a star of these ads as the election progresses. And for that matter, Ron DeSantis managed to whine a few notable lines when he was running for president and I would imagine that they will find their way into a Biden ad as well.

Uncle Joe is not lacking for material, that’s a certainty.

WARNING: There are two schools of thought on this quote. I’m attempting to fact check it and see if he said it. If he never said it, take it for sheer entertainment purposes. This next one is a jewel and it is real. I remember hearing it.

There is a sickness in our land. It has infected our politics, yes. That’s an absolute. But it wasn’t spawned by politics nor does it begin nor end with politics. It’s not about Republican v. Democrat, although that was the original framing of the issue back in 2016. It is far deeper than that. It’s a lot of things: haves v. have-nots, educated v. ignorant, truth v. lies, opportunism v. honesty, hope v. despair, faith v. depression, kindness v. violence, fair dealing v. exploitation, and last but not least: Good v. Evil. It is that basic.

  1. Is it just me thinking this is an indicator of how fucked Trump and Truth Social are? How bad a shape are both in that that need to take money from the Biden campaign? This is getting to MyPillow territory and that’s very bad news for Trump!

    • When my wife asks me what’s going on “with those republicons? What can they be thinging?”, my answer, since 2016 has always been:

“Good v. Evil. It is that basic.”

      You nailed it.

I think Truth Social “aired” those ads because they are too stupid to see that the person submitting the material was called the “Democratic National Committee.” They didn’t think it was the same as the hated DEMOCRAT committee they have been taught to loathe. Or they couldn’t spell.
