Yesterday Arizona Republican Senatorial Candidate Blake Masters, reading the electoral tea leaves, went from being a wolf with an extreme anti-abortion stance – even promoting a fetal personhood law to criminalize and stigmatize women who seek the procedure on his campaign website – to attempting to hide as a wolf-in-sheep’s clothing, scrubbing all references to such draconian measures from his online presence.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes and his Twitter followers were not going to let him get away with that BS and… they brought receipts.

Thanks for saving that, Tim.

Apparently, Ian.

Yup

Gee, all mention of “fetal personhood” is gone…

I expect Mark Kelly will have some up soon…

You can run, but you can’t hide, Blake.

Yep. In this case lying to everyone on both sides of the issue.

Absolutely, Liz!

Yup.

Can’t erase that, Blake.

Expect a lot more of this blatant flip-flopping and lying from purple state Republicans as it sinks in how angry women are on this issue.

We cannot allow their attempts at rebranding themselves and their lying about their Democratic opponents’ positions to stand.

Good job by Chris Hayes and his crew for showing the way!

Help keep the site running, consider supporting.

  1. You know, it’s absolutely hilarious to me how all these forced-birth nuts playing around with these insane “personhood” laws like to just ignore reality.

For instance, pushing “personhood” for a fetus completely ignores the “personhood” of the ACTUAL WOMAN carrying that little parasite. (Sorry if that offends people but if a woman doesn’t want a fetus, then how is it any different from a parasite like a tapeworm or a tick?)

Also, there’s the strange stance that so many of them have when it comes to circumcision. The same idiots who go out of their way posting nonsense about how fetuses “feel pain” during an abortion will contort themselves in all sorts of ways to defend circumcision by saying that ACTUALLY BORN INFANT MALES are (somehow) incapable of feeling any sort of pain when part of their penises are cut off. If you’ve got the nerves to feel the pain of being aborted, how in the hell do you suddenly lose those nerves when having part of your penis snipped off? (It’s also a bit absurd to defend circumcision based on keeping boys from being “embarrassed” since, according to that mindset, only a “gay” would be looking at another boy’s genitals–even though we ALL know that it’s almost a built-in genetic feature of every male to check out another male’s “equipment,” no matter the sexual orientation of the checker.)

  2. Americans? Land of buffoons who voted Republicans back in office after they lied openly about protecting pre-existing conditions WHILE THEY WERE IN COURT TO END THE COVERAGE of the insurance called Obama care. They then vilified John McCain for standing with the democrats to save it. Facts, truth, science, etc., have no impact on cult members. Chickens lining up at the butcher shop.

  3. What a tangled web we weave when once we practice to deceive. It is SO hard for liars to keep track of their lies. Most RepubliQans are simply not smart enough to do it. They just invent new lies.
