Cheney Mercilessly Mocks Trump’s Pricey Bible, Suggests He Reads Verse On Adultery

Donald Trump has suddenly got religion and it’s a weird metamorphosis. I mean, this is a man who, if his mouth is open, he’s lying. Really, religion has never been part of who this guy is, I don’t care how many of his greedy, crackpot evangelicals lay their grasping hands on him. He’s never practiced that whole “love thy neighbor as thyself” ridiculousness. He’s coveted lots of other men’s wives, has borne false witness against others when it suited him, and at one time even suggested that Mark Milley, America’s highest-rank general should be executed.

I’m quite sure that if it were possible, Moses would be spinning in his grave. Maybe even doing somersaults.

Former Rep. Liz Cheney understands that his attempts to sell pricey Bibles are little more than another scam to rack up money to pay for his legal expenses and grease the wheels of his campaign. So she’s suggested perhaps he should pay attention to that part in the Bible that focuses on adultery, according to The Hill.

“And read it, including exodus 20:14,” she concluded.

Cheney, was, of course, referring to the verse that commands, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”

While I’m definitely NOT religious, the Bible teaches things this vile man could learn from. If he ever cared to. But he’s created a facade and is hyping his “God Bless USA” Bibles. He’s partnered with country singer Lee Greenwood ahead of Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

In his latest effort to raise funds, Trump pitched his “God Bless USA” Bibles, which he is selling in partnership with country musician Lee Greenwood, ahead of Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

He was just full of the Good Book in a Truth Social Post on Tuesday, saying he believes every American should own a copy of the Bible.

“it’s my favorite book,” Trump said. “i’m proud to endorse and encourage you to get this bible. we must make america pray again.”

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you what he really means is “We must make Americans sheep again.” But, he went forth and blarted:

“religion and christianity are the biggest things missing from this country. and i truly believe that we need to bring them back and have to bring them back fast,” he continued. “i think it’s one of the biggest problems we have. that’s why our country is going haywire. we’ve lost religion in our country.”

Trump just wants to relieve you of $60 of your hard-earned money, and this high-fallutin’ Bible will include lyrics from Greenwood’s God Bless the U.S.A., copies of the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence. Oh, and let’s not forget the Pledge of Allegiance.

Cheney is right to refer to Donald’s expensive dalliances. He’s become tangled in scandals stemming from his alleged infidelity. After all, a jury recently ordered him to pay $83.3 million for defaming E. Jean Carroll after the writer came forward in 2019 and alleged he sexually assaulted her. A jury had previously found Trump liable for sexually abusing her in the mid-1990s. He was married to Marla Maples at the time.

Then of course there’s the whole Stormy Daniels thing, which Trump will be dealing with in New York in April.

He will face his first criminal trial in New York next month, and jury selection begins on April 15. The former President is charged in this case with 34 counts of falsifying business records of reimbursements to Michael Cohen, then his fixer and attorney, who paid Daniels $130,000 just before the 2-1

Unless you’ve been in a coma for the last several years you already know what shenanigans Trump pulled here, so I’m not going to elaborate on this overheated dung heap of his own creation. He’s pleading not guilty, of course. He admits there were reimbursements but he denies the affair.

Which is stupid, of course. If the affair didn’t happen, why would he have to reimburse her? This man has lived an enormous lie his entire life. Perhaps he’s done this so much that he really believes his own b.s.

That Bible he’s hyping? Maybe he does need to start reading it.
