According to Vox, Robert Mueller has just slapped new charges on Paul Manafort and indicted Konstantin Kilimnik.

Yes, it’s already been a busy news day today, but now Special Counsel Robert Mueller has filed a new indictment that adds more charges against former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort, and brought the first charges against Russian national Konstantin Kilimnik. Kilimnik was a long-time employee of Manafort’s political-consulting business.

The new indictment adds two new charges filed against both Manafort and Kilimik, and are for obstructing justice and conspiracy to obstruct justice by using intimidation or force against a witness, and also with tampering with a witness, victim or informant.

The indictment claims that Manafort and Kilimnik “repeatedly contacted” two people they’d worked with in the past “in an effort to secure materially false testimony” in the case.

Mueller says he’s obtained encrypted messaging, call records, and witness testimony to back him up.
