The MAGAs are nothing if not plagiarists and sometimes they can’t even do that right. This image of Joe Biden was meant to be insulting but paradoxically, it’s having the opposite affect. It’s sending a positive message.
Where it backfires as an insult is in its attempt to portray Biden as some kind of an uber tech Big Brother, but what comes out instead is a kind of art deco inside joke. The keyhole imagery is good. Yep, that’s what the Democrats are doing, peeping at the keyhole. In a technological society like this one, the imagery is humorously retro and conceptually naive, but again, these people lack a sense of humor and they don’t have a lot of self awareness, either.
There’s also a resonance with the popular James Garner flics of the early 60’s, Support Your Local Sheriff and Support Your Local Gunfighter. Garner was a highly likeable actor with a TV Q rating through the roof, and so is Uncle Joe, so again, it works. Whatever destructive properties the creators of this image thought it had are melting away as the image actually becomes amusing.
Enterprising Democrats, never ones to let a good thing lie unused, have already been doing a meme of the meme.
Here, Joe looks more art deco and more classy. The shades and the silver hair work on him, always have. All we need now is the Corvette.
Now the ultimate irony is that the MAGAs love to depict Joe as doddering and senile, but here he’s a cross between a secret agent and a superhero. Nothing weak kneed or incontinent about that, just the opposite.
And then the last logical inconsistency, and it’s a doozy, is that supposedly MAGA world believes in Back the Blue — so they make Joe into a cop? Hey, I say great. I absolutely approve. Let’s back Captain Joe America, or whatever this character is named. By all means.

The only thing missing from that image is AC/DC’s “Back In Black” playing in the background. Fact is Uncle Joe is untouchable by GOP standards and any good messaging people who could come up with something effective hate their guts. They’re just going to have to resign themselves to pariah status until Liz Cheney takes them over.

They do not want people to think, they want them to be sheeple, lemmings who will follow them blindly and unthinkingly even over a cliff! The greatest irony of the wording on the MAGA version is that this is the philosophy of the fascist regimes and what they do not want voters to do in terms of Trump. Don’t question, don’t speak out or criticize. If you do the GESTAPO will be there shortly to force your compliance. Interesting how they think intelligent people will believe their dictatorial “values” to be even remotely similar to the liberal realty. But then, evaluate their words regarding things like abortion (they will force you to have one) or vaccines (they will bring to your house and force it on you), guns (they will come and take yours) and on and on. The only thing I see liberals, of whom I am a strong one, doing to “force” any issue is to set the stage for cornering the opposition when they unrighteously seek to impose their will on everyone and deny the rights of others NOT to comply. This was my feeling when, during his SC hearings, Alito said there is no constitutional right to an abortion. The right says you have no rights. The left says in the absence of consideration, neither is there a prohibition. Major difference.
