The wheels of justice grind slowly, too slowly for most of us, but occasionally we get to see them grind exceedingly fine. One instance is that of Steve Bannon getting ready to pack it up and report to prison on Monday, July 1. That is presupposing that he doesn’t find a private plane somewhere and head it towards Belize or some other country without an extradition treaty. With these people you never know. So Bannon will join Peter Navarro in the ex-convict class of former Trump aides soon. (What karma: Jared Kushner literally found Navarro’s book on Amazon and the rest is history.)

Rush Limbaugh is the Founding Father Of Fake News. Then Andrew Breitbart realized he could make big bucks from making utterly ridiculous claims as though they were real and that’s where Steve Bannon started out. Alex Jones used to be in existence for entertainment purposes, the radio version of the worst of Fox News commentary. But all that changed in 2016 when a leaderless GOP glommed onto the trust fund baby cum reality TV star and decided to rebrand themselves in his image. Then Alex Jones threw in his lot with Trump and pretty soon InfoWars had press credentials at the White House. That was a new low for both the White House press room, and journalism generally speaking.

Steve Bannon was as surprised as anybody when he found out Trump was running for office. “Of what country?” he asked, when told, “Trump is running for president.” He saw the absurdity of it early on. But he also saw a way to capitalize on how hated Hillary Clinton was after a 20-year period of right-wing misreporting and misrepresentation.

This is some redress of injustice, the fact that Bannon is going to prison for four months for contempt of Congress. It’s not nearly enough and it is a drop in the ocean by way of punishment, considering what the man has actually done in this country and the people he has ripped off. But at least it is a step in the right direction.

The fate of Rudy Giuliani remains unknown at this time. But it should be something, when the hammer of justice finally falls on him.

  1. Having been in a penitentiary and a dormitory style prison camp…I’d advise hogman to keep his fat mouth shut. The dangerous men in there don’t give a rat’s ass WHO HE WAS before he gets there. There may be others who may want to increase their status by sticking a homemade shiv into that fat gut. There are no guarantees but one…you act tough and someone with nothing to lose will force you to prove it. After all there is no secret service to guard his ass and the men called guards aren’t there to guard you from another inmate. They only are there to keep the animals from escaping the zoo.

  2. Adios mofo. Almost good riddance. Alex jones… pos. Ghouliani… another fool that FAFO. Okeefe… didn’t his own board fire him? Another pos. (Acorn destroyed by … lies). Noticing a pattern and association of conmen and liars. Epoch times🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. It is a federal prison, but not a,Club Fed because he has another trial coming in September. A low security federal prison instead. I was hoping he would have his head shaved. The thought of that gross grimy greasy mop of hair hitting the floor gave me great joy, but federal prisons don’t require it.

  4. I suspect Seedy Steve will have been desperately seeking a protector inside, someone with enough juice to keep him (sorta) safe from harm in the showers, by dangling leniency and parole in the event of a Trumpler win in November.
