Elon Musk just blew up his social media fanbase, such as it was. Musk used to bask in the attention of the MAGA cult. In fact, he got an approval rating that matched Trump’s, four out of ten Americans thought he was a good guy, in an Associated Press poll. But that was before this week. In a few short days Musk managed to alienate the base and Steve Bannon, ever vigilant for a good fight and all the clicks that come with it, has taken on the richest man in the world. Personally, my money is on Bannon. He’s a veteran of many campaigns and Musk is brand new to the world of politics, social media, and tabloid level fame. He’s outmatched. Look for this to be the dynamic duo going forward, Bannon eating Musk for lunch and the rest of us laughing, while Elon sits in the corner and impotently pouts, trying to figure out his next move.

I love it when they eat one another. Right now Musk is undoubtedly steaming, wondering what revenge he can wreak on Bannon. The worst he can do to Bannon is ban him on Twit/X and that would suit Bannon fine. Bluesky is growing by leaps and bounds and with that back door to go out of, nobody is really that concerned what happens to their Twit/X accounts. Not like they were a year or two ago. So Musk is in many ways the architect of his own doom here. Twitter lost a ton of money when he bought it and now it could go down to a bare skeleton of what it was. Here’s more of Musk stepping in it from Charlie Sykes’ newsletter. In addition to “FUCK YOURSELF in the face” Musk has:
- Doubled down on his support for a German neo-Nazi party, even as he was calling his right-wing MAGA critics in the United States, “hateful, unrepentant racists.”
- Endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy’s criticism of American culture for encouraging mediocrity.
- Went even further by agreeing with a post that said that Americans were too “retarded” to meet America’s need for a high-tech work force. Responded Musk: “That pretty much sums it up. This was eye-opening.”
- Retaliated against MAGA critics — including Donald Trump’s previous BFF, Laura Loomer — by stripping them of their verification badges on X.²

The blowback from MAGA loyalists was intense. Steve Bannon mocked Musk as a “toddler” who needed a “wellness check” from ‘Child Protective Services.”
Former Congressman and alleged sex-offender Matt Gaetz also weighed in, telling Musk & Co. to stay in their lane:
We welcomed the tech bros when they came running our way to avoid the 3rd grade teacher picking their kid’s gender – and the obvious Biden/Harris economic decline. We did not ask them to engineer an immigration policy.

And Laura Loomer — who, until recently played the role of Trump’s BFF — called Musk a “stage 5 clinger” who was a “total fucking drag on the Trump transition.”
This is a complete reversal from where things were even one week ago. And it will stay this way. Bannon knows a winning story when he sees one. He published any number of them on Breitbart. The fact that they were based on conspiracy theories and lies is of no account, they got a lot of eyeballs.
The only thing that everybody is waiting for now is for the other shoe to drop. What will Musk do?
When accused of being in charge of demons because he was reportedly successful in overcoming them, Jesus responded by noting a house divided cannot stand. Sounds right to me. It’s great news as far as this example goes…it’s extremely bad news concerning our Union.

Could Trump possibly be the one behind the curtain having his minions do what he doesn’t have the balls to do. He wants to get rid of Musk now that he doesn’t need him or his money anymore. I don’t think all these magas would go against Musk if they thought Trump was still in a bromance with him. Just putting that out there to consider.
That pampered punk has never fought his own battles. That’s why he acts tough. He knows he never has, nor will ever have to fight his own battles. So the answer to your inquiry is a qualified yes. He doesn’t think ahead, but he knows he is the Jim Jones of this cult…and if he wants to sell giving their children cyanide to see Jesus…well…over 900 souls went down that road with Jim. Of course, some of those folks had guns trained on them, and ole jimbo did not take cyanide, which results in a horrible death. He died by gunshot…much quicker and less painful. Another false prophet. I wonder when the so called ‘Christians’ will ever heed the warnings of the Holy book? Maybe when they are lost in eternal darkness. God only knows.

Steve Bannon would be banned on Blue Sky on Day 1 just like Laura Loomer was. MAGA trolls are not tolerated there.
