Talk about constituent servicing.

Just as mega-hurricane Ian, with its 150 MPH sustained winds, torrential rainfall and massive storm surges begins to punish the Florida Gulf coast near Tampa and Ft. Myers, the Little Marco Rubio campaign decides the time is right to plead for funding of its Senatorial race against Democrat Val Demmings.

Yeah, Marco, Florida voters are going to totally take the time to cut a check for you as they pack their survival kits and children into their cars and head for higher ground just ahead of a twelve foot tidal tsunami?

I get that one cannot stop their fundraising apparatus on a dime, but is this really a good day to roll out a brand new appeal?

Only in GOP Lalaland.

Is there anything more useless in times of trouble than a Republican Senator?

  1. Rubio is basically saying “Hurry up and donate all you can to me while you still can! Our state is gonna be fucked big-time and who knows when things will get back to where you can wire me money?”

  2. Well, it’s pretty obvious he (or his campaign people) are totally tone deaf. Did he happen to turn on the news or listen to the radio? His constituents are a little preoccupied for the near future…

  3. What a fucking tool. Please someone take him outside & hold his head underwater. Oh. Wait. He’s probably not in Florida but in his nice digs in Washington. Maybe teddy invited him to Cancun.
