What a summer. We now deal with the conundrum that Donald Trump is asking the Senate to please please stay in town and appoint his precious nominees, while at the same time telling the House that they need to leave stat, because God forbid they would approve the testimony of Ghislaine Maxwell or anything having to do with the release of the Epstein files. A bit cockeyed, don’t you think?
So Trump has managed to shut down the House in his quest to protect himself but he’s got another gadfly which is annoying him greatly and that is Mark Epstein, brother to Jeffrey. Trump is going to flip when he hears this.

And of course we’ve got the situation with Marge Greene putting Trump on notice this week that “small bits of red meat no longer satisfies.” So Trump’s between the proverbial rock and a hard place. He doesn’t dare allow the Epstein material to be released and yet he doesn’t dare not to, because his MAGAs are shrieking for it.
What is he to do? Well, we have seen his strategy and so far it consists of:
- Obama. Claim that Obama committed treason. That should dominate a news cycle or two, right?
- Play up the grand jury transcripts. This is a great dodge. Grand jury transcripts sounds so important doesn’t it? In this case, there’s only a small percentage of what’s wanted in the grand jury transcripts. The real meat is with the FBI and DOJ. That’s what everybody wants.
- Obtain a statement from Ghislaine Maxwell exculpating Trump. This isn’t my sole opinion. Ron Filipkowski is saying this, too.
- Spin, spin, spin. Anything and everything to deflect the attention from Epstein.
Trump has bought more time. But he can’t run and hide forever.
I heard a story once that epstein would bring trump food because trump would forget to feed himself.
I doubt epstein’s grand jury transcripts have much but maxwell’s might since she was the procuror. she might also lie about trump in hopes of getting a pardon while trump has pardoned some shitty excuses for human beings I don’t think the magats would approve of this one. if she were to lie about trump and underage girls there would no longer be any reason to withhold the files. all those mentions of trump wouldn’t matter if they don’t involve anything criminal. there would also be the problem of what she would do for money if she gets out. the obvious answer is write a tell all book. she could tell anything she wants because once she’s been pardoned she can’t be un-pardoned.
