Ann Coulter used to love Donald Trump. She wrote a book about Trump called E. Pluribus Awesome. He was the coming and the life, according to Coulter at one point. That all changed a while ago when she became disillusioned with Trump and wanted to “turn the page.” Coulter is still in that mode and now she’s suggesting that America is about to turn the page on the GOP, bigly.

So far the polls are going along with Coulter. New Marist poll in Ohio: Democrat Sherrod Brown leads incumbent Republican Sen. Jon Husted 51%–43% in the Senate race. Democrat Amy Acton leads Republican Vivek Ramaswamy 50%–44% in the governor’s race. For comparison, Republican Mike DeWine won the 2022 governor’s race by 25 points Trump carried Ohio by 11.2 points in 2024.
Just yesterday Trump was quoted on Fox News saying he didn’t think the polls were accurate because he “did so well” in these states and therefore these other candidates should be doing well, too. Not so, Donald.
Trump is now doing a tour encouraging people to “vote as though I were on the ballot.” Oh you are, Donald. You are.
