Now, I haven’t been to a Taco Bell in Manhattan as of late, and doubt that I would patronize one if I were to find myself in the street food capital of the U.S., but even Fox Business News host Neil Cavuto found this guy’s claim that he shelled out $28.00 just for his own lunch at one laughable, which makes me think, well, that it is.
I have been to one locally though, due to a sudden craving for a Nacho Cheese Dorito Supreme, of which I ordered two, plus my personal Bell favorite, the humble bean burrito, and a drink and got away from the drive thru for just slightly over ten bucks, so, inflation or no, I’m gonna call BS on this:
Are we sure he was sober? Maybe he had a little wake and bake action. Not that I'm judging. If that's how he rolls….

Even baked I couldn’t eat that much Taco Bell, dude.
There is always a factual response to confirm he's being ridiculous. pic.twitter.com/jz5Xe8SSqS

Even so, that’s a lot of Pepto.

Clearly he's been taking full advantage of Biden's marijuana amnesty.

🤣🤣🤣
<Orders a Mexican Pizza for delivery in NYC during the lunchtime rush through UberEats for a grand total of $28 including Uber fees, surge pricing and tip.>
“My god this inflation is out of control!!!”
— 🌵eePope ⛈️ (@TeeBall77) October 12, 2022
Yup.
That’s why it cost $28: six bucks for the meal, $22 for two bottles of reasonable wine beforehand.

👍👍👍

Shit. I can get a taco, chalupa, burritto, and a drink for around $15 (I do not recommend this order. It only leads to heartburn and regret).

Who says he was sober?

🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
maybe Faux Bizwax is not paying him enough… but $28 for lunch at Taco Bell?!?

Yup
This is what $28.00 at Taco Bell will get you: pic.twitter.com/vI48xI3loc

🤣🤣🤣
A quesadilla combo or Crunchwrap combo and two extra tacos runs around $11, so this dude must’ve had a hell of a lunch

Well, there you have it Neil, the consensus seems to be your guest is full os sh*t.
But, after that much Taco Hell who wouldn’t be?
Two questions for our little financial wizard there: did you smoke quite a bit of pot before your little trip to taco hell (can’t really understand why anyone would go there in the first place) and if not, how many people did you purchase this shit for? If he’s paying $28 for one of those crappy meal deals, he should not be allowed out of the house without a minder.
I had to look at a map just to *find* a Taco Hell in my area. (There are a couple of Del Tacos, though.)
If the guy has it delivered I could see how that could happen adding on the tip, etc. HE still must have had a pretty big order though.
Manhattan does have its own price structure, and it’s been known to cause sricker shock. If you do go on line to check it out, be sure to enter a Manhattan Zip code. and don’t forget tax – and tip. I agree it seems unlikely. But I don’t find it impossible.
