Now, I haven’t been to a Taco Bell in Manhattan as of late, and doubt that I would patronize one if I were to find myself in the street food capital of the U.S., but even Fox Business News host Neil Cavuto found this guy’s claim that he shelled out $28.00 just for his own lunch at one laughable, which makes me think, well, that it is.

I have been to one locally though, due to a sudden craving for a Nacho Cheese Dorito Supreme, of which I ordered two, plus my personal Bell favorite, the humble bean burrito, and a drink and got away from the drive thru for just slightly over ten bucks, so, inflation or no, I’m gonna call BS on this:

Even baked I couldn’t eat that much Taco Bell, dude.

Yup

Even so, that’s a lot of Pepto.

  1. Two questions for our little financial wizard there: did you smoke quite a bit of pot before your little trip to taco hell (can’t really understand why anyone would go there in the first place) and if not, how many people did you purchase this shit for? If he’s paying $28 for one of those crappy meal deals, he should not be allowed out of the house without a minder.

  2. Manhattan does have its own price structure, and it’s been known to cause sricker shock. If you do go on line to check it out, be sure to enter a Manhattan Zip code. and don’t forget tax – and tip. I agree it seems unlikely. But I don’t find it impossible.
