There was plenty of attack ad fodder at Donald Trump’s Waterloo Tulsa rally. His hobbling around for fifteen minutes, in paranoid defense of his West Point death ramp walk was an obvious piece of material, and it’s already been done, but the stand out moment was when the Liar in Chief finally told the truth and admitted that he ordered that COVID-19 testing be slowed down. Always good to have a confession, especially when the charge is murder. ‘
If you missed the clip on Trump’s death ramp walk, here it is again. This is a side splitter. I love this piece.
Ooops. I'm told by @LibsInAmerica that this was made by @FindAClearTruth. Brilliant, my friend! https://t.co/SjZXZfumYL

Here’s what Jennifer Rubin says about the Lincoln Project.
The ads are devastating for several reasons: They are produced with lightning speed, and thereby catch the public debate at just the right moment; they hammer Trump where he is personally most vulnerable (e.g., concerns about his vigor, concerns about foreign corruption); and they rely to a large extent on Trump himself — his words and actions. Put it all together, and they manage to “say the quiet part out loud” — that is, to make public what many Americans already think about Trump. As a result, they are creating some of the most devastating ads of this or any presidential election cycle.
Trump has felt compelled to respond to some the ads, as he did on Twitter during the week to make excuses for his feeble appearance at West Point. Plainly, the Lincoln Project has struck a nerve. He wound up devoting a good chunk of his meandering remarks at his Tulsa rally to explaining why he needed two hands to drink a glass of water. He bizarrely reenacted his baby-step descent on the ramp after his West Point speech. The group’s communications director Keith Edwards tells me the group “lives in Donald Trump’s head rent free.” And it is not like there is any shortage of material for the ad-makers. “We’ve only just begun to prosecute,” John Weaver told me. “We won’t let up until Joe Biden is sworn in at noon on January 20th.
Preach it, John Weaver, preach it. And let us all heed this gospel. None of us can let up until Joe Biden is sworn in at noon on January 20th. Amen.

I love the last part, about Joe Biden is not a whiney b**ch. Perfect.
The first time I saw that I laughed out loud and clapped.
I see these as fact-checking in real-time. There that good it’s really sad that Nov is so far away
Courage, Nan. Five months is close enough to taste it. After three and a half years, we can manage that.
Anybody else wonder if everybody in the Trump camp (with the exception of Jared) has just given up? There is no narrative that they can launch that Trump himself won’t blow up inside 24 hours to a week.
he’s already confirmed, twice, that he told his aides to slow down testing.
Yep, you have another “wonderer” here. I’ve been thinking that maybe some of what is happening with SDNY has to do with Trump and his folks realizing he likely will not be re-elected–so, dismantle all the cases there as best as they can while they have the power of the WH. They did a number on the DC office; why not the SDNY too? Otherwise, they must have more than an inkling that he will be charged with crimes. Lots of crimes. More of them than we even know about. Deep six the cases, move out the prosecutors familiar with each case, and voila, much harder to prosecute.
Well, Carroll, this past weekend answered the question as to “why not SDNY?” Lindsey Graham really effed them by saying he’d honor blue slips for Schumer and Gillibrand on any potential nominee. Dummies waited too long to get a jump on this. Now it’s too late.
Case of “Enemy of my enemy is a friend.” I don’t mean to suggest that they are “enemies” of the democrats, we’re ALL Americans first, after all the greatest strength of our great nation, – E pluribus unum, something sorely missed by the “Stable Genius” and his Trumpolytes.
However, having said that, I’d hate to see what they might do to Biden, in 2024 with all his gaffs (ok, I shouldn’t count my chickens before, etc).
No doubt, Lincoln Project folks are really good at hitting hard, hitting fast and keeping it on point – thanks guys, we are truly all in this together!
I think Joe’s gonna wrap it up at one term myself. He’ll have done his job, prepped the next generation for the future and probably be more than ready to call it a day. The Lincoln Project spinmeisters will likely be spending the rest of the new decade sorting through their meager post-Trump options.
Meanwhile. Lets not count our chickens before they’ve hatched.
Oh, no, Concinnity, not by any means. That said, we’re doing pretty good right now.
I think it’s safe to say that as devastatingly effective as Lincoln Project is, you can assume that as soon as a Dem is in the WH and the repugs get someone worth supporting (as if), they will turn their laser death ray back on Dems. They are just anti-tRump, not pro-Dem.
Ah, but how effective will they be, Carol? As great as they have been as allies, do recall that they were utterly helpless and frankly useless when it came to stopping Trump’s rise in the first place. It was only when we got OUR act together that they finally had a useful flag to rally under. I therefore look for them to lapse back into the infighting that gave them Trump in the first place.
Can someone explain why Charlie Manson spent his life in prison? He never killed anyone. He wasn’t at the scene of the crime. He “influenced” others according to the theory. Trump was briefed in Nov of 19 according to the Israelis. He could have declared the national defense act, shut down all international travel, ramped up testing & production of ppes, ordered private & university research to work together, etc. If he had done that, we wouldn’t have 120k dead we know of and counting. Trump has killed FAR MORE than Manson & he’s not done yet. Charlie was railroaded. Trump flies around on the public dime creating superspreader events. We deserve what we get.
