Oh to be a lip reader. For the rest of us we’ll have to rely on body language. As you will see, Donald and Melania are sitting alone in a box at the race car track. Melania has her arms folded and occasionally gesticulates for emphasis. Trump’s body language is conciliatory. He has his hand on Melania’s knee. This clip is followed by another one where Melania walks off and leaves Trump sitting in the box by himself. Go figure.

There you have it, Melania rigid, arms crossed, Trump slouching forward, apparently trying to defuse the situation. Could the dialogue have involved Natalie Harp, who was present at the race, although in another area? Shortly after this video Trump was seen to pat Melania on the knee and then she rose and left him alone in the box.
Melania’s father is in the next box over. Eric Trump was also observed at the race making small talk with Natalie Harp about whether he had picked a car to win and Eric said that he hadn’t.
