We’re about to see deja vu and no it’s not a glitch in the matrix. It’s the same set of circumstances as we saw in 2018, only a lot worse. If the Democrats retake the House, as they did in 2018, then investigations into all of Donald Trump’s skullduggery will start happening and toute suite. If the Democrats take back both chambers of Congress, then look out. And what does Trump think of all this?

The only people saying Trump is one of the greatest presidents ever is that 21% that is his hardcore fan base. The other 79% are in various stages of disapproval shading all the way to utter contempt. As the reporter points out, there is nobody in the Democratic party who feels that way about Trump.
But it’s interesting that that was his kneejerk defense, how great he is, how held in high esteem he is. He’s able to keep that delusional aura going because he heads a unified government but, like in 2018, that is predicted to shift in a couple of months and then Trump will be asked for accountability.
And he can’t handle accountability. He can’t handle questions about Todd Blanche being the next attorney general, he can’t handle questions about the lies he’s told about the Iran war, he can’t handle any inquiries into any of his iniquities. He has no plausible defense.
All that will change in a few months when the pendulum swings back and Democrats start asking Trump to explain and defend so much of what he has done. Start monitoring his Truth Social feed, that’s where he processes all his feelings, per his niece, Mary Trump.
