This is getting repetitive. And exhausting. It’s starting to induce panic. Trump won’t shut up, and he escalates with the next Truth Social rage. (Yes, I meant rage.) In the meantime, our country is falling apart because he genuinely (what a word to use) does not care about us. There is Trump and only Trump, off in his version of reality, where he is the star and everyone else is only good for as long as he can use them up, and then he throws them away and looks for the next person or thing to be used. President Donald Trump’s promise to “decimate and destroy all areas of Iran” stunned a former Obama administration official Saturday morning. Richard Stengel, former Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, shared his alarm over Trump’s recent Truth Social threat with MS NOW viewers. “The fact of an American president threatening genocide against the whole people in case he’s assassinated is more than unseemly,” Stengel said. “It’s it’s

Geeee, ya THINK???!!!!! He’s ramping up his rhetoric, and that very much is a big concern. I’d almost swear that he’s going to get to the nuclear stage. I am quite serious here. And if the US starts dropping nukes, Putin is going to see this and drop something on Ukraine. If Trump drops a nuke, well, so much for America, and he may be hauled up by the highest Court in the world because of nukes and genocide. We would learn a lot, that’s for sure Then, if the highest court hauls him up on some of his other escapades, that’s a bonus. All we would need to do is ask the court to bring in Jack Smith for the prosecution. This would be quite something to see.
Stengel was responding to Trump’s own reaction to the Wall Street Journal report earlier this week that a new Iranian plan to assassinate him may have been uncovered by Israeli intelligence. Late Friday night, Trump responded with a direct threat. “1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran,” wrote Trump, “with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME!”
Oh, brother. He doesn’t realize that if there were a plot to kill him, ranting about destroying their country would make them work even harder to do so. The blustering and the threats haven’t been followed up. There has been no action taken any time he has threatened to do so. They’re old and likely being ignored. We want to ignore them too. If he finally decides to attack Iran again, it will make Petey Boy happy. Have you noticed he’s been out of the news lately? It will also put us in deep doodoo. Our munition stocks are very low. They’re costly and time-consuming to replace. We don’t need to be pulling stocks away from our locations in the really volatile areas of the world. We just don’t. That would be an exponentially horrible idea.
Stengel expressed extreme cynicism with the Trump administration and all its rhetoric regarding its months-long war with Iran and the weeks-long “ceasefire” the president declared “over” last week. Trump’s rhetoric, Stengel argued, was just another ploy. “I think they’re just playing for time,” he said. “I think what will ultimately happen is sort of like what has happened in Gaza. We’re not talking about Gaza anymore. Where was the great peace deal in Gaza? Well, I think Trump will just kick this down the road for months and even years, and there will be occasional flare-ups, but they will never be a nuclear deal.”
No, there will never be a nuclear deal, because Trump has screws it up six ways from Sunday. He tore up the one that Obama worked so long and so hard for because he’s jealous. He knows Obama is everything he is not, so he keeps trying to elevate himself. Trump’s actions against Iran have blown that completely out of the water. And nope, we haven’t heard about Gaza in a long time. What’s going on there? We know Israel has been bombing Lebanon, but nothing on Gaza and a Trump hotel. Interesting. So, Trump is threatening Iran with, essentially, a nuke. Decimate and destroy are strong words. Well, let’s hope for another TACO because dropping a nuke is so, so wrong, and it will change the way the world is, not in a good way.
