Heh, heh, heh. This one will be short, even for me, but there was much chuckling about his failure in a speech that kept popping back into my memory; it seemed to be worth sharing. JD Vance gave a speech that bombed. He’s never going to learn. He should take public speaking classes. They would do him some good because he’s so bad. Thanks to Raw Story:
Vice President JD Vance attempted to make a joke at the expense of former President Joe Biden while speaking to troops at Virginia Beach — but the crowd was not amused. Vance was at Naval Air Station Oceana to commemorate 250 years of the American military when he made a comment about worrying about falling in public while walking down the steps of Air Force Two.
This is already going downhill. It’s one thing to make a joke about himself. But dissing on former President Biden? Uh, uh. There are a lot of people who still like Biden perfectly fine, including us, and probably quite a few in the military. Vance has always been bad at telling jokes. He would have been better off to skip it.
“The previous president — I’m trying to be nonpartisan — have you ever seen these old cartoons where you have the angel on the shoulder and the devil on the shoulder?” Vance asked. “Well, because I’m speaking to all of you, our great patriots and service members, I’ve got the angel on my shoulder, saying, ‘JD, don’t be partisan, better make this nonpartisan.’ And then I’ve got the devil that wants to talk about every time that Joe Biden fell up or down the stairs. And the media didn’t care about that, but if I did it one time, it would be a major, major story,” Vance said.
And you folks thought my jokes were bad? That one from Vance isn’t even worth groaning about. It gets a word with 2 letters: oy. He either needs a better speechwriter or he just needs one. If this is what he’s coming up with, no wonder he keeps making such a big fool of himself. Don’t they teach that in law school? If a lawyer tried something like that, they’d be laughed out of court. And JD wants to run for President? You need to be able to speak well to do that. MAGA won’t support him, either. Give it up, JD. Stop talking.
