Oh, good grief. Trump was bad enough. Trump flapped his gums more than enough. Trump should stop flapping his gums, except Vance now apparently wants to tag-team with Trump. If only these two would shut up already! It’s not doing any good and can make it worse. With gratitude for Raw Story:
Vice President JD Vance delivered a warning to Tehran on Friday night after the United States launched a series of air strikes. The strikes came over a week after President Donald Trump signed a ceasefire deal meant to end the war. U.S. Central Command said its forces hit Iranian missile and drone storage sites and coastal radar stations. It called the strikes a response to an Iranian attack on a commercial ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
See what I mean? Now, yes, *supposedly* there was a ceasefire. It can be believed when we see the documentation, but not before then. Seems that the last time we heard, they had agreed on a framework and not an actual ceasefire. That, or my memory is finally giving out. Either way, the point remains. Now Vance is joining in.
Vance responded to the attacks in a post on X. ” Iran signed a ceasefire agreement. We have honored it. If they have disagreements about how the MOU is being applied, they can pick up the phone,” Vance said. “But violence will be met with violence.”
Watch me bang my head on my desk. Violence with violence. Oh, joy. Doesn’t that give you warm fuzzy feelings of confidence? …. I thought not. I also thought there was more to this article, which there is not, so less ranting from me. I should go to sleep earlier.
