Well, this is mentally healthy. An Indiana office holder doesn’t think there’s enough hate in America and we need a lot more. The Handmaid’s Tale is not as far fetched as you might think. There are right wingers who want women to not vote, not work, and for men to be paid more than women. The idea is that this is a “family” wage, if you pay a man more than a woman, then the man’s wife won’t have to work. And childless cat ladies be damned, needless to say.

Well, as members of the LGBTQ+ community have long noted, “There’s no hate like Christian hate.” And these are some of the same people who tell stories of how bad life is for women and gays and religious minorities under Islamic rule while (not-so) secretly intending to treat women and gays and religious minorities the same way under their extremist version of Christian rule.
