Nothing like a little Orwell at cocktail hour and who is serving up pitchers of it right now is South Carolina Rep. Ralph Norman. Norman would have been wondrous at the Ministry of Truth. And so would the reporters who are unable to nail down his position on the role of the rioters vs. the Capitol Police on that fateful day.

Norman’s on the moon, yes, but these reporters aren’t getting their jobs done either. Were the barricaded members of Congress all going along with a script, gas masks and all? Or was it real? I seem to recall Josh Hawley running like Satan himself was hot on his trail.
Are you losing your mind, Norman. If I remember It wasn't made up when you posted this Jan 6 2021. pic.twitter.com/QyyUaHgnN9

Oh gee, lookey there, Norman’s got a streak of Lindsey Graham in his character. It’s white and runs right down his back. Or yellow and runs down his belly. Lindsey didn’t like being chased at the airport after his courageous stance on January 6 so he dumped the courage and the stance and became Trump’s lapdog. Now he travels in peace.
This is historical revisionism as an art form. I wonder what people will say about it in fifty years? I hope the truth manages to seep out about the police officers who were injured or killed. It would truly be a tragedy if their sacrifice gets lost in conspiracy theory drivel.
