Last week’s Reuters/IPSOs poll had Donald Trump at 40%. This week it’s 36%. This is lower than Trump was at this same time in his first term and lower than Joe Biden was at this time in his term. So Trump is not doing well — which is why you can expect him to harp on his “100% of MAGA poll.” He won’t stop talking about that.

It was actually an NBC poll and CNN commented on it. Harry Enten said it was rare to see 100% in polling, but that in the poll he addressed, that 100% of people identifying as MAGA said they approved of Trump’s actions in Iran. Since this is the no more wars crowd that’s a bit difficult to parse, but it’s typical for MAGA: once their charismatic cult leader does it, they love it no matter what it is.
There are, however, other groups: the Independents, whom Trump is losing favor with; Hispanics, who are being alienated in droves by ICE, the Republicans who are against Trump and the rest of the country. He’s bleeding off support everywhere except for MAGA.
Better hope MAGA saves you during the midterms, Donald.
There aren’t enough maga to save him. When he loses they’ll go the way of The John Birch Society and disappear, or be in prison for their corruption and crimes. As long as the winning Democratic Party don’t put any Republicans in charge of any prosecutions, like Garland – who should have prosecuted Trump when he could.
