Yes, we know she’s always playing the long game. But she’s certainly behaving as if she were actually intelligent. Some of the things she came up with are all about the oof then SMH. We’d all wondered about that. She continues to “have fun” with Trump. That’s appreciated. People listen to her, read her Xitter, that sort of thing. She has quite a wide following. Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said President Donald Trump’s recent moves in Iran “really angers” her when confronted on CNN about her past praise for him. The moment unfolded during Greene’s appearance on “The Source” when host Kaitlan Collins asked her whether Trump still deserved a Nobel Peace Prize amid escalating tensions abroad. The former MAGA lawmaker acknowledged she once believed he was worthy of the international honor.
We already know the answer to that, even if it was originally a guess. Dingbat Donnie has stated he no longer thinks he will be able to get the Peace Prize. Why didn’t he think about that before starting the damn war is beyond me. And now MTG is weighing in on the (lost) opportunity. Took long enough.
“At one time, when he wanted to be the president of peace, he wanted to end wars and constantly talked about no more foreign wars… of course, I thought he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize,” Greene said Friday. “But do I think he deserves it now? No. Absolutely not.” Greene went on to frame her criticism in generational terms, arguing that younger Americans are weary of foreign wars. “It really angers me, Kaitlan, because I feel like they’re ruining it for the rest of us,” she said, referring to older leaders she called “baby boomers that are… just clinging to power.”
Gee, thanks, MTG, I guess we older people don’t meet with your approval *snort*. I am well aware she’s talking about older people in politics and older people making decisions for the country. I don’t fall into any of those categories. It just entertained me. There *is* one foreign war we should be involved with, but it won’t be on the correct side. I’ll bet you already have an idea of which one, too. Can we say Ukraine? It sure as hell isn’t Iran.
Greene warned that continued military engagement overseas could widen the national debt and threaten future Social Security payments, adding that younger generations “don’t want war with the world.” “We want peace,” she said. “We desperately want peace between all of our nations.” She then took another shot at Trump. “I’m praying for the administration to stop the insanity,” Greene said. The exchange comes as Trump announced that he had ordered “one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East.”
War is not good for anyone. It’s a waste of time, money, and human lives. It kills the economy. It hurts *everyone*, military or civilian. The only ones it doesn’t hurt are the uber-rich gazillionaires who have enough money for a dozen lifetimes and don’t need to worry. Then there’s the rest of us, and we *are* hurting. They don’t think about us. We’re considered inconsequential. MTG seems to be thinking about everyone *but* the gazillionaires. We’ll see how long that lasts.

She said that at one time he did deserve the peace prize. She doesn’t seem to realize that I’m pretty sure you have to accomplish something to rate the award and not just say the words.
Which is just strange considering she’s shown flashes of intelligence. But hell NO Trump hasn’t *done* anything to deserve one (Ukraine would have been good) and never will after this stupid fluffing war got started.
