Only seeing is believing — although Donald Trump will have you believe that this media outlet is committing “treason” because they put something on the airwaves which is unflattering to him. Only undying admiration is permissible amongst the press in Trump world. Simply, Trump hates documentary evidence that he makes no sense whatsoever.

Run it a couple of times, it makes less sense the more you hear it, if that’s possible. Trump especially hates the press when they nail him like they do here because he wants all of his faux pas to simply go unnoticed and on the occasions when he says something cogent he wants that hailed as unparalleled brilliance.
The head of the FCC hasn’t started pulling broadcast licenses yet, but it is a distinct possibility. Or worse, the likes of Ellison, Bezos, and Musk will simply buy the outlets and program them the way they want to see them programmed. That is a depressing thought but so is the fact that Fox News has been on the air so that an entire generation has grown up on it, believing it to be “normal.”
We are in deep waters, as Sherlock Holmes used to say.
Well, if CNN (among others) had done this back in 2016 when Drumpf was pulling these kinds of contradictions on a daily basis during his campaign rallies, we might not have been stuck with him the first time (much less this current time).
But, no. CNN was more interested in all the ratings they could get covering him than actually paying attention to his constant contradictions so it was all played off as “Drumpf being Drumpf.”
