This is whacked. I cannot believe what it was reported he said, but I have to, and that’s the repulsive part of it. Just when I think he’s hit bottom, he goes lower. President Donald Trump said the US Navy chose to sink an Iranian frigate, killing more than 100 sailors last week, because it was “more fun” than capturing the vessel, even though the ship posed no threat. Though death tolls vary, Iran’s state media organization, the Islamic Republic News Organization, reported on Sunday that 104 crew members were killed in the attack and that 32 others were injured when a US submarine torpedoed the Iranian warship IRIS Dena in the Indian Ocean on March 4 as it departed from the Milan Peace 2026 naval drills hosted in India.
Okay, *someone* had to give that order. And someone has to have told that person to do it. Couldn’t they tell it was unarmed? It was in international waters. You just don’t DO that. Then Trump said it was fun. People DIED. They were not being aggressive towards us at all. But Trump thinks it was for fun.
The Dena was more than 2,000 miles away from the Persian Gulf when it was attacked, far from the hostilities unleashed last weekend when the US and Israel launched a war against Iran. Contradicting US claims, Iranian and Indian officials have said it was not armed. The Dena’s 32 survivors, as well as dozens of dead bodies, had to be pulled from the water by a Sri Lankan joint rescue operation following a distress call. The survivors were quickly rushed to a local hospital in Galle City. In carrying out its war against Iran, Hegseth has emphasized that the US would not abide by what he called “stupid rules of engagement.”
I wasn’t going to use this phrase until my closing, if ever, but bluntly, what the actual F*CK. Rules of engagement are there for a reason, you SOB! Wasn’t it bad enough that they were shooting small boats out of the water because of “drugs”? Now, Petey Boy is saying our military can be lawless? I am so mad I could spit! Or something. Are our military people that afraid to say no? What is going ON out there? And who has been listening to Putin?

“The US had no legal right to go to war against Iran. The [United Nations] Security Council had not authorized the use of force, and there was no ‘armed attack’ from Iran against the US that required immediate self-defense.
“Without either of those, the UN Charter is very clear that no country may attack another country,” she continued. “To do so, as the Nuremberg judges found, constitutes the crime of aggression—the ultimate crime.”
Want to bet that Trump and Petey Boy don’t give a damn about the UN or the Nuremberg crimes? Because it is crimes plural at this point. Heh, yes, I know, no bet. Susan, I’m starting to wonder if all these clearly illegal and morally repugnant actions in Iran by Trump’s order are intended to provoke Iran into hitting back within the USA, and thereby giving the deranged president the excuse he needs and wants to invoke martial law or the insurrection act or any other repressive “wartime” measure he can find.
You’re not the only one who thinks this way. Another reader commented the same thing. I’m not wondering anymore. I’m certain he’s trying to trigger something in the US so he can take over. After I found this yesterday, I have no doubt anymore. And that’s damn frightening.
I read Timothy Snyder’s substack this past weekend and his premise is that Trump is trying to provoke a terrorist act in the U.S. for just this reason. which will prompt him to declare all sorts of restrictions on our freedom. Get this out there far and wide.
