Some things get better with age, like fine wine, and some things get absolutely awful the more they age. Donald Trump — and his *policies* — are in the latter group. And bear in mind that dementia is a progressive disease. You think he’s looking and sounding bad now, give him another three, six months. Or another three years, which is the sentence that we’ve signed up for.
And who knows what gifts he’ll be accepting from whom in a year or two or for what tradeoff? Buckle up.
Hopefully, with the midterm elections, we will see a democratic majority-possibly in both houses and they will crack down on this BS.
Trump and his goons are plotting to avoid that eventuality, Serene. All those ICE goons in our streets are a taste of what will happen come November, as Trump’s private army blocks access to polls and intimidates voters, especially those of color, to stay away. What we’re watching now is just the rehearsal.
It’s not inconceivable that behind the scenes secured residential care is being thought about, or planned, or even, ready to be activated for that imploding ‘total body rot’ of a carcass aka ‘P’OTUS.
a year ago i would have agreed with jarvis but parkhomenko and youngman at alt media recently came up with a response to that kind of thonling, simply, look at minnesota. the american people aren’t going to put up with thay crap. and if trump is dead or in a care facility (good luck finding one that will have him) i don’t see anyone else who could pull it off.
