It’s speculated in the clip that you’re about to watch that Vladimir Putin “got everything he paid for.” To say the very least. The Russian newspapers and media are virtually crowing with delight over the anticipation of Greenland being “annexed” to the United States and hey, wouldn’t it be grand, if this could happen between now and July 4, 2026? That’s the date of America’s 250th birthday, meaning the signing of the Declaration of Independence. And if Greenland is a U.S. property in seven months, why that would mean that the U.S. would be the second largest country on the earth in area, behind only Mother Russia. Open your ears and hold your nose. This is six minutes long but worth it.
The Russian media is cheering Trump’s war on our allies:
“Europe’s at a total loss. It’s a pleasure to watch this.”

The latest CBS/YouGov poll on the topic of Greenland showed that 14% of Americans approved of Trump taking it over and 86% of Americans disapproved. What was it that Abe Lincoln said about public sentiment? Oh, yeah. “Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment, nothing can fail. Without it, nothing can succeed.” Maybe somebody should read that to Donald and see if it sinks in. Pundit Jim Stewartson has a theory about why Trump will invade Greenland and yes, of course, it predominantly features Putin.
- It would effectively destroy NATO, which is Putin’s primary geopolitical goal. Trump has been trying to undermine NATO since 1987—right after coming back from his first trip to Moscow.
- The broligarchs convinced Trump they need the minerals and land for AI data centers. Keeping the AI bubble inflated is existential to the regime.
- This kind of transgressive action creates a massive distraction from the fact that the DOJ is breaking the law by failing to release the Epstein files.
Right now, there are 1500 soldiers in Alaska getting ready to be “deployed to Minnesota”—if Trump decides to illegally invoke the Insurrection Act to suppress the protests in Minneapolis. However, the 11th Airborne—which specializes in Arctic warfare—could just as easily be sent to Greenland.
There is no line Trump will not cross because his mental illness has erased the lines from his internal map. He is the most dangerous man in modern history because he is unmoored from reality—and controls the U.S. federal government.
Here is a letter that Stewartson wrote to Europe a year ago. It’s still very timely.
Dearest Europe,
A bit of a switcheroo here, I’m afraid. We’ve gotten ourselves into quite the pickle and we need you to do us a few favors in the meantime.
Please wrap your arms around Ukraine, protect the nation and the people from the war criminal terrorizing civilians with drone strikes every day. If you let Putin succeed in Ukraine, Eastern Europe is next, and there is no knowing where he will stop.
Ukraine needs weapons, ammunition, troops, supplies and money. Do what it takes. You have the resources. You are facing another Hitler, but Charles Lindbergh and Henry Ford are now running America. We won’t come to help.
You should also, as Zelenskyy recently said, build an army in Europe. You cannot rely on the United States for the foreseeable future. We have abdicated our role, both morally and militarily. Kick us out of NATO and create a war economy in Europe.
You should ban all of Elon Musk’s products from Europe. Convert Tesla factories to weapons manufacturing. But most of all, you must ban “X”. It is a toxic poison destroying the fabric of civilization. Do not let it destroy you as it has us.
We will, as we always have, defeat this threat to our nation. However, this time is truly different because the evil has grown inside, and there is no way to know how long it will take to get it out. But please be assured that Les Misérables are sharpening the guillotines, and we will get the bastards, eventually.
Be strong in the meantime. We are still with you, in spirit anyway.
Your old friend,
America
As Leon Trotsky said: “You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.”
Trump is crazy enough to invade Greenland, against the better judgement of the American people and the world — short of Russia. Russia is all for it, and so is Elon Musk and the tech broligarchs.

A letter from a year ago.
Still prescient.
