Now this is getting particularly kooky but what else would you expect with a set up situation where a crazed American *president* gets a Nobel Peace Prize medal handed to him because the recipient wants to glaze said president and get him to turn over the reins to the government of her country. Trump has shown no signs of intending to give Maria Corina Machado the helm of her country in lieu of Delcy Rodriguez — which means Machado’s gesture was for naught and we could have told her that.

But it gets stranger still. Now we have a Norweigan actress, Liv Ulllman, to be precise, and she’s claiming that Trump will not be in possession of his pilfered prize for too long now. Deadline:

“I’m Norwegian, we give a Nobel Prize to somebody who deserved it and suddenly that Nobel Prize is going to somebody else. It’s so strange, so strange and that’s why I’m happy specifically now that we have laws that say that if you misuse the Nobel Prize we take it away from you. Somebody in power in the United States may be disappointed. He will lose it… I am happy.”

That is the actress Liv Ullman whose words you read. She recently accepted an acting award in Berlin and addressed the issue of Trump.

Are there such laws? And is it misuse for Machado to give her medal to Trump? Stay tuned. This could get dicey. You know that if somebody tries to take Trump’s newest toy from him that he’ll get petty and vengeful and refuse. So the question is, will anybody try?

  1. Maybe the Committee will take into consideration their prize is now in the hands of a maniac who wants to start WWIII. I hope Ullmann is right and they rescind it, and do it very publicly

    • That would be soooo humiliating to Machado if they do that. But at this point Machado may be beyong humiliation. She’s beyond street smart if she thought Trump would help her. But then again, desperate times call for desperate measures.

  2. I am amazed that none of the large “news organizations” have reported that the medal in question still does not belong to Trump. A gift presented by a foreign entity during a sanctioned state event/visit becomes the property of the People of the United Staes.

    Sorry Lardass. You lose again.
