There’s no idea that Donald Trump won’t steal and particularly in an election year. He’s now very concerned over the people who pay high rates for credit cards. If you’re getting a sense of deja vu, yes, Bernie Sanders and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez already came up with this idea a while back. But Trump is behaving as if it’s his own brainstorm, naturally.

Apparently nobody in his administration showed him this — or they did and he didn’t care.
Just to be clear, Bernie Sanders and Josh Hawley proposed a bill in the Senate a year ago, along with AOC and Luna in the House, to cap interest rates on credit cards at 10%. It is nice that Trump has suddenly decided to get on board with it in an election year. pic.twitter.com/Bcliz0KEL9

You would think Trump would at least want to share credit with Hawley and Luna, right? Wrong.

Someone might should ask why the “cap” is only for *one year* if he’s so opposed to the “outrageous” interest rates? If he’s REALLY so against those high interest rates, he’d be pushing for a PERMANENT reduction. Could it be he’s only looking at the issue as election propaganda to help *his* MAGAt supporters?
