Yes, this administration is severely irony-deficient and it’s a tragedy that there isn’t a pill for that, or a tonic. The irony simply escapes this crew. J.D. Vance was on the airways tonight and he is oblivious to the obvious. But then that’s how J.D. manages to survive, very much like Mike Johnson does. Just go for the soundbite and if it resonates really close to home, ignore, ignore, ignore.

The bottom clip was Junior adjusting some tobacco pouch or something. I heard his excuse and it was to the effect that he had some tobacco product in his mouth which helps people stop smoking. Looks to me like he was rubbing his gums with cocaine, but what do I know?
Conventional wisdom is that Junior loves the white lady, as she’s been called, but Junior claims he’s merely an animated guy. Who are we to say? I just find the irony of Trump pardoning the Honduran president and him having Junior for a son to be stupifying, but then that’s because on this side of the cultural divide Irony still is Queen. And so is common sense.
These kind of things just serve to remind us that these people are not the brightest lights. When I read the piece about Mike Johnson, the term nitwit came to mind.
I see Junior could still be blindfolded with dental floss.
