In today’s banner image — did you notice there’s a different one each day? — there’s a sweet little koala resting on “Catmas”, but no, that’s not a hint of what’s on the sixth day. The Furkids like to include a koala wherever they can because they know it is one of their Editor Aunt Ursula’s favourite animals.
They’re dedicating the next seven days to fellow writer Susan Fenyx, and sending their beloved Aunty Susan loads of love and healing energy as she recovers from her hospital stay.
So which cuties feature on day six? I’ll tell you that they are native to the bushlands of eastern and southern Africa, have long eyelashes, and are the tiniest of their species, standing a mere 30-40cm (11″-15.5″) at the shoulder and weighing under 6 kgs (13lbs). It’s time to reveal their identity, so get comfy and… hold on! Who is that in the Catmas tree? Goodness, I wasn’t expecting that! The Furkids are certainly full of surprises!
