You recall Emily Post books? Or at least the name? Emily Post wrote books that were about etiquette and that was the name of the book, Etiquette. Peter Post, great-grandson of Emily Post, wrote Essential Manners for Men: What to Do, When to Do It, and Why, which provides guidance for men on etiquette in social, daily, and professional situations. Now one would assume that Donald Trump, born to great wealth and ergo to some high social status, would have read such a book. Fuggedaboutit. Just take a look at how he behaves.

Take this apart shot by shot. First of all, Trump touches Erika Kirk on the back for no reason. That’s not considered proper etiquette for a non-relative to touch a recently bereaved widow on the back like they’re pals or something. Trump is not a brother or male relative, in which case it would be appropriate.
Then we get to his lifting her wrist at an oblique angle. Scuse me, I know we’re talking etiquette here, but what the fuck was that? Even Mrs. Kirk doesn’t seem to know. But she’s going along with it.
If Trump had any remote clue of how this is done he would know that if a man and woman are going to descend the stairs together, he should OFFER the woman his arm, so as to have a hold on her if she trips. There’s also old etiquette books that say a man descends the stairs first (same reason, in case the woman falls) but that’s outdated.
A simple crooking of the male arm is the classy way to do it — and whatever TF the hand under the wrist is, it’s pure Trump. Maybe that’s what he tries with Melania and that’s why she slaps him away.
Or wait, when Trump says, “I moved on her like a bitch,” is that what he means? Who knows? At least he didn’t grab her by the you know what. Let us be thankful. I’m sure Erika Kirk is.
Come on…if he doesn’t grab whatever wherever whenever…then who would volunteer to sleep with an obese nazi crossdresser who smells like shit and hairspray?????
