One thing that Donald forgets is that there is a video and/or tweet for everything. Or maybe he doesn’t care. He’s got it made in the shade right now. He’s set for the next three and a quarter years of grifting for himself and his buddies. One of his buddies made $192 million on the stock market yesterday as it was crashing. Seems the buddy had inside information about 100% Chinese tariffs — or, maybe the person is merely prescient. Who knows, right? We do know that the U.S. dollar has seen better years. That we absolutely know. In any event, 2017 wasn’t all that long ago and here’s what Trump had to say about Qatar back then.

What’s that you say? Our own military aren’t drawing their paychecks right now, and military families are availing themselves of food banks — but the Qataris get whatever they ask for? Yep, that does appear to be the way that this empire cookie is crumbling.
We’ll see how long this “peace” lasts. I well remember when Jared Kushner put his Abraham Accords in place (after reading 25 books on the Middle East) and that peace lasted about nine months, before the shells started going into the mosques and the synagogues again. So Kushner did not achieve much of anything except an elongated cease fire and that’s what that region of the world is known for; it sways back and forth like a pendulum between open warfare and a grudging ceasefire, a “peace” if you want to call it that.
And where is Trump today? Most likely on the golf course, where else?
