Interesting how Melania Trump is going out of her way to eradicate any record of her ever having been involved with Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein, in the story that first broke, knew Paolo Zampolli well, as did Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell and Epstein used to invite Zampolli to party. Zampolli knew Melania, because he ostensibly met her when she was modeling in Milan and helped her get a visa to go to the United States. Then when Melania was in New York, Zampolli reportedly invited her to a party that he was throwing at the Kit Kat Club that Donald Trump was inviited to. And from then on, the rest is history. Except Melania does not like the proximity to Epstein and so she’s taken steps to see that a book with the aforementioned information revises future editions and pulls the old version from distribution.

This is really splitting hairs, but I believe the gravamen of this dispute is whether Jeffrey Epstein actually uttered the famous words, “Donald, this is Melania, Melania, this is Donald,” or whether Paolo Zampolli said them. Or maybe a third party said them. And I suppose it’s one of those things that we will never know, unless somebody was recording the introduction.
But in all events, the details are important to Melania and that’s why she’s gone out of her way to quash this particular story. It’s surmised that she’s doing this because once the Epstein files are released, we will know even more than we do now about what a monster Epstein was and also more details about what Trump did or didn’t do with Epstein’s ring of child masseuses.
And let’s face it, every stall tactic in the book has been used to keep the Epstein files from being released. Just today Mike Johnson was asked for the nth time why he doesn’t swear in Adelita Grijalva, who was elected weeks ago and could have been sworn in at any time. But when she is sworn in, she will be the 218th vote which will allow the release of the Epstein files and Trump doesn’t want that.
Epstein is radioactive. Whatever he might have been or done in life, he is positively toxic and radioactive in death. And he could well end up being kryptonite to Trump and the GOP.
