The current government is overrun with people who don’t know government and who never even learned the basics of law in law school. This is a travesty. It’s also dangerous as hell. We have seen that proven firsthand on January 6, 2021. Donald Trump spewed a lot of legal sounding nonsense, in the effort to fleece his rubes for his “reinstatement fund” and there was no such concept of “reinstatement” to the presidency. It doesn’t exist, in the Constitution or anywhere else. But that didn’t stop Trump from pushing it as a concept or the rubes from paying into the account. All of that continues today with Stephen Miller making legal pronouncements when he has yet to prove that he could even pass a first year midterm exam in a school of law.
There is a legal distinction, but Miller never studied or practiced law. The supremacy clause also doesn’t make the federal government all powerful- we have a federalist system, which Republicans used to believe in. This is exactly the danger we’re in right now. We have people in high places, who did not get there by merit and who don’t have the usual and customary credentials to hold the posts that they do. Miller has probably read the Constitution, unlike Trump, but just reading that document without reading and understanding the cases that buttress it and explain it, is a partial and incomplete understanding. But who cares, right? This is only political theater and reality TV that we have in 2025, in lieu of a real government.
And Miller is talking the talk about leftist judges and how they’re in league with terrorists and last night we saw Judge Diane Goodstein’s home burned to the ground in South Carolina. Three people were hospitalized with injuries.
Nobody knows yet what caused the fire, beyond the fact that it was an explosion. It’s too early to say whether Judge Goodstein was being targeted for some ruling she made or just because she was generally known as a liberal judge and Miller put out the call for judges’ scalps to his goons.
But if some connection is found between Miller’s irresponsible, uninformed rhetoric and the destruction of the judge’s house, that will be a dark day, indeed.

I’ve seen lots of pictures of Miller – just his face and his eyes are as dead as a shark’s. I swear his brain is infested with toxic versions of the brain worm RFJ Jr. had. The dude is a human shaped horrific biological oddity, a snake, a rabid wolf, scorpion and shark stuffed into a human skin covering. Most of what he is is hidden under that human skin. But the eyes. Those aren’t hidden. I always flash back to Jaws and Capt. Quint describing his experience on the Indianapolis during WWII and those days lost at sea after rapidly sinking due to a torpedo strike (for those who don’t know history the ship’s mission to deliver the atomic bomb to Tinian was so secret the ship wasn’t reported missing when it didn’t show back up in port) and the bulk of it’s crew being eaten by sharks:
