It’s a day ending with the letter ‘y’ which means adding to Trump related ‘you can’t make this sh*t’ up news. With everything else going on folks at the White House are probably hoping his interview with Fox personality Mark Levin gets lost in the noise. Because Trump said he’s a ‘War Hero.’ He actually said that!

He sent in a few planes. Wow. Kind of puts the actions of those who risked and sometimes lost their lives on battlefields in perspective doesn’t it? I guess Trump doesn’t think those who chose to stand into danger and got wounded or killed are “worth.” He likes guys that didn’t get shot and/or killed!
Multiple outlets including Newsweek have published something about this, Frankly I’m shocked. Of course what’s needed to truly get the public to focus on this outrage is for a reporter in a gaggle straight up ask him how, given he’s never been in combat or even served in the armed forces in some staff back here in the states, he can justify calling himself a War Hero. Levin got the subject on Israel Gaza and Netanyahu who did actually serve in his county’s Army. As have other leaders of various countries, even if it was a long time ago.
However Netanyahu is a corrupt leader only staying out of court and a probable jail sentence because he’s played the ‘you can’t switch leaders during a war’ card. And due to his orders and policies he doesn’t want to EVER see himself in The Hauge facing trial for war crimes. Trump thinks he’s a swell guy and his actions make him a war hero. And Trump, since he ‘helped’ thinks that makes him a war hero too:
Trump referred to himself as a war hero while speaking with Levin, a staunch Israel advocate, during the host’s eponymous Mark Levin Show, as the president discussed working with Netanyahu to free the remaining hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Trump called Netanyahu “a good man,” adding that “he’s in there fighting.”
The president went on to say that although some want Netanyahu prosecuted on war crime charges, “he’s a war hero.”
“He’s a war hero because we worked together,” Trump told Levin. “He’s a war hero. I guess I am too. Nobody cares. But I am too. I mean, I sent those planes.”
So we have Cadet Bone Spurs who went to great lengths to get a series of deferments during Vietnam, who said he DID ‘survive’ his own ‘personal Vietnam’ avoiding STDs tearing through the NYC party scenes hotspots back in the day. A guy who stood in Arlington National Cemetery at the grave of his Chief of Staff’s son who was KIA and said “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?” THIS guy says he’s a war hero because he signed off on some missions to send some planes into action?
I can’t help but wonder if Trumpy is going to decide he’s such a hero that he demands Congress approve a Medal of Honor for him. The govt. of Norway and the Nobel Committee can tell him (again) to get bent, but the GOP controls both chambers of Congress. You just KNOW some asshat will suck up to Trump and introduce a resolution to award Trump the MOH. I think Trump needs to be mercilessly mocked over this
When I read about this load of crap my my flashed back to my time in musical theater and opera – specifically the tune He Is An Englishman from HMS Pinafore. Replace Englishman (and the slight spacing of the pronunciation) with ‘War Hero” (a slight pause between he and ro) and there you have it
Well, I long ago accepted that each day will bring us some new self-aggrandizing, idiotic statement from Trump. This one however might come at a cost if Veterans speak up in a big way. Oh how I wish someone I knew from Opera Worship back in college who lives in my area would respond. We could do this up well!

There were a season when at first Israel went to captivity of Babylon for seventy year, and God brought them back again to Israel and rebuilt the temple in Jerusalem, but they fell again in sins, even rejecting the Messiah, Jesus. Jews escape to other nation when they passed big troubles, that may be was the expression of God’s anger, When Israel went back to Israel was after the Holocaust, that was an other big trouble for the Jews, but the anger of God, Jews started to warring their neighbors, but God obviously was with them, and Israel defeated all them in the seven days’ war.
