Like Trump, GOP Rep. Doesn’t Think About What He Says. And It’s the Same B.S.

DUDE. Do you even have a brain in there? Or is it just a recording? Because this is a little much. Hell, it’s a lot much! Apparently, you’re another one of those who doesn’t know how to do anything and just parrots random sentences, or even keeps his mouth shut. From Raw Story:

A scandal-plagued Republican lawmaker got pushback from conservatives and liberals alike after he called for President Donald Trump to receive a third term, as well as a Nobel Peace Prize. Rep. Andy Ogles, who has been reportedly put under scrutiny for financial scandals in the past, said Saturday on X, “Give Trump a third term, give him a Peace Prize, and let him run D.C. as long as he wants.” The pushback was almost instant.

Really now. This thing about a third term, and a Peace prize (which he doesn’t deserve in the slightest) has already been settled many, many times over. After Trump’s failure at the Summit Meeting, the prize is now out of his reach. Trump knows it. So, with Rep Ogles, what he says is not going to make it any more of a possibility, let alone something that could still happen.

Joe Walsh, a former Tea Party Republican lawmaker who recently switched parties, replied with, “225 days ago, you raised your right hand and swore to support & defend the Constitution of the United States. Shame on you.” Republicans against Trump asked Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, Grok, “What’s wrong with this tweet?” The program provided the following answer: “The tweet proposes unconstitutional actions: a third term violates the 22nd Amendment’s two-term limit (Trump is serving his second). The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by the Norwegian Committee, not ‘given’ by the US. Allowing indefinite rule undermines democracy and the Constitution.”

WHAM. There ya go. No, no, and no. It’s not going to happen. Sure, Trump might get some support for a third term from people like Rep Ogles, but the Constitution says NOPE. Anything Rep Ogles says is worth less than a penny. That may be harsh, but true.

Things like this seem to be common among the Republicans in Congress, particularly those from the House of Representatives. I think, although I’m not certain, that at least two other people have talked about this. It still doesn’t make any more sense, nor encourage much, if any, people to do something. I’m certainly not going to, but then I have a brain and I’m not Republican.

Former youth pastor John Pavlovitz said, “Nah.” “Give him a polygraph test about r—– girls,” the liberal author added. //// Brian Mistrot, a self-described politically homeless conservative, chimed in: “The Constitution limits a POTUS to 2 terms, which this numb-nuts knows. But s——- on the Constitution allows him to keep making $200k/year off taxpayers and stay in power.” “More proof that Republicans have given up on the Constitution & rule of law,” he then added. //// The popular MAGA Cult Slayer account said, “Ogles is a traitor to the United States of America.”

Ouch. Did Rep Ogles even notice? Or is he too secure in his own imagination that it’s beneath him, or some such nonsense? Well, it doesn’t exactly matter what he thinks, because he’s an idiot. They don’t think. They just parrot lines from their (not) Great and (not) Glorious Leader, aka Trump. I’ll bet that opening his mouth and saying things without thinking is part of what got him into trouble. I don’t know that. Still, it seems likely. Go back to your cave, sir.

Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that of all of the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working.
