History does move in cycles. This we have seen. We have seen a given people get weak and debauched, watched their society collapse, hard times befall all, then strong people come along to rebuild. Then the strong people die off, their children and grandchildren are weaker than they were, not remembering times of war and deprivation, except as cautionary tales told by their elders of a world they never knew. And so weak and debauched people get in charge, societies collapse, hard times, etc. We are now in the nexus of where the weak and debauched have taken hold and before they cause the society to collapse. And we have every reason to believe that history will repeat itself, just in another time and place, as it inexorably does. Here is Emperor Caligula Felon at his Bedminster revels this weekend.

And floor shows in Vegas are supposed to be tacky. No, Trump imported this one from Atlantic City, from a casino whose owner managed not to bankrupt it. Vegas has a certain level of class.
What’s that you say? Maybe this a drag performer? Yes, I have seen La Cage Aux Folles. Maybe that’s what came to Bedminster to perform and wouldn’t that be a howling scream and put one over on Donald, not to mention the other *family values* guys. The only question now is whether this show is headed for:
- Donald’s new White House ballroom?
- The Kennedy Center?
- Mike Johnson’s house? Mikey’s got more of a Jim Bakker streak in him than we’ve seen so far, but it’s there.
- Barron’s dorm room? Oh, that’s right. Barron doesn’t live in a dorm, he lives with Mommy still.
What we can promise you is that things will get a lot worse. Because what Trump’s *administration* consists of is one reality TV skit after another, whether it’s lying about the economy or staging foreign policy theatrics. When Trump’s in the White House it’s all Fox News, which they call “Executive Time” to make it seem like there’s something on Trump’s calendar.
Then after a few days it’s back to the golf courses and cheating there — with floor shows at night in the clubhouse. This is what’s running our country, friends. Yes, I know. A lot of us have trouble sleeping and this doesn’t help.
